You're also intolerant to new things...

And I think that with this provoking (and also quite insulting) phrase of yours (which maybe could also be attributed to Goebbels in the 1930s), you are disqualifying yourself as somebody to take into consideration in any serious discussion.

Could you, for a chance, illuminate us, and offer a full and detailed comparision list, with objective data, with the 'new things' that, in your opinion, currently enhance the game and make it better than the 'old things', and which can supportu your point of view so overhelmingly that we should agree that everyone discrepant with your opinions is wrong?

Or do you think the 'advantages' are so evident that everyone should see it, and that all of us who don't share you 'wisdom' and see the things in another way (and point them out, with explanations and examples) are blind, or simply stupid?

Okay. People here are used to over-paced players high goal scoring games that are completely out of reality. Devs wanted to add a bit more reality to the game, they wanted to make the scores more adequate, and generally a ME that is at least closer to IRL than the old ME.

If you analyze today's NT games you shall see more balanced scores, no more 18-0,36-0, or even a 5-0 between top balanced teams. Here people if they dominate in a game they expect a win, okay, it is obvious to expect a win, but let me point that in IRL there are also UPSETS in different games, most recent and known is : Denmark-Nederland and I'd say also Ukraine-Sweden. I hope you know that football is an unpredictable game, that's why we have always new champions, interesting matches, because you can't always predict how the game ends. If you could predict it 100%, it would become boring and with no sense in it.

For instance let's take current season of Champions League: Manchester club, bot City and United were kicked out, Basel and especially APOEL had a surprisingly great performance, despite being always the underdogs. In IRL you say: Wow, this is what you call teamwork, determination and ambition. But if this happens in Sokker, what is the reaction?! Oh, here it is: THIS ME SUCKS, F*cking random, b*llshit game, admin buttons(usually as a joke).
There are always different and lots of factors that have to be taken into account, but once a user plays a match he views it from only 1 point of view.

Now about pace. I bet you have seen lots of games on TV, attended also, and I bet you have observed how players run on the field. Now that the human's size, take also into account the field size, compare a superdivine paced sokker player and for instance Walcott, Ronaldo, or any other super fast football player, do they run proportionally on the field?! No, the sokker player runs too fast. And that's why devs lowered the pace(visually), because now every player got a bit slower but the difference between a diviner and a brilliant one is the same. They added more passing into the game, combination game, so you would concentrate a bit more on midfield, just like IRL. I doubt that most top clubs play always 5 def-line.

And the most important part: I don't know how, but every user believes his tactic is perfect and whenever he concedes a goal, loses a match always blames the Match Engine. Remember - weak tactic, ends in a weak result. 80% of tactics that are made are rubbish or at most mediocre. Do some effort, analyze how REAL TEAMS PLAY, analyze their tactics, or better GET A FOOTBALL BOOK and educate yourself about football.(And yes I had such an opportunity as my cousin currently, ex-NT player, gave me to read "some stuff"). What you see on TV and what really happens behind the curtains are 2 different things. Tactically the match is more complicated and complex that you see it from the first sight.

P.S. I forgot one tiny thing: It happens that you use winger(actually most of us do), you have 18 headers during a game, your opponent has 6-9 shots(normal ones, by foot) and he wins. You start to blame everything, cause you had more chances. But please use the brain and analyze one thing: It is harder to score a header than a shot, header lacks precision, power and flexibility. So if you put emotions outside your judgement, you will see I talk truth here.

I agree...
2012-06-16 20:02:31
+1 ;)

but...something with NT pitch have to be done!
2012-06-16 20:02:55
Thank you. Also I forgot to point out : Barca-Chelsea. Complete domination by Barca, a good form by GK, ruined chances, and voila! "pure magic"

I never said about that. Pitches for NT and generally the stadiums have to be upgraded just like the Sim NT's.

I will post shortly a pass on minute 29 in my today's game: Deutschland-Hungary. I was freaked out a bit by such stuff.

tiolucas pls... you consideratying you a Zeus, we want that this game to be realistic, not like hattrick or other borring game... its normal in realit that 1 team wich is better organized that other team that have succes without very good players... in this game counting more tactics, shapes, players positions etc... if we want evolution we have to adaptating to changes...
2012-06-16 20:07:52
yes din0 agrre with you at this... the pitch of nt's are like low divisions teams in relity, they have to do something they can make a nice stadium and pitches wich represent a national team

Please take a look at the "beauty" pass, in today's NT match between Hungary and Deutschland:

This is why we need top pitch!

There were few of those also in New Zealand - Makedonija game. Freaky, to say the least.

IRL such pass would be awesome to watch (on a good pitch), but here either awful pitch(which it is), or a player with triplesupermegadivine passing skill.
2012-06-16 20:22:27
Honestly, i like that idea

but it's a game in the first place, for me...
I want it to be FUN, and I'm not amused with the devs at the moment... The ME was last weeks games, imo, good.

I've put an effort in my team, I don't want it to be a random game, so I want to see my team winning when they play against a weaker team(who haven't put as much effort in it as me). If ùy team is way better, I want to see my opponent being crushed by my awesome players(if you know what i mean;-))
But it's still too early for me to say how the Match Engine is behaving.
This is just based on rumours on forums, so first i'll see in my own games. I've read they made more changes, I'll see what it gives in tomorrows game. Then i'll see if I like it, if there is still fun in it for me. I don't want it to be too realistic...

But first the NT pitches need to be fixed asap!

Players were looking a bit faster today, but NT pitches are awful.
2012-06-16 21:02:38
Right now the ME is just too random.
2012-06-16 21:13:45
I beg to differ. It is more balanced.
