Subject: [news] Junior Teams

what he is saying is that it not linear development

the player doesn't start with say good pace, weak playmaking and poor keeper and then gain levels equally in all

instead he has a percentage of his total - determined by his youth level, distributed to the skills by ratio, so 25% of his total skill points will go to pace, then 10% to playmaking and 5% for keeper

this will be recalculated each week as the player pops

this is apparently how it is calculated now, so it will not change

To those who say nothing has changed, I would like to post this portion from the first post:

A modification from the previous system is that your junior coach’s general skill now decides on exactly how the total skills of each junior are determined. The higher the coach level, the more exact the junior level determined. Also, the more matches your junior plays, the more adequately the coach knows his total skill and shows it to you. If a junior does not play in a match it does not affect his training - he will still get full training.
Notice, there was no change on the actual speed that juniors are trained, the only modification is how your coach shows the overall level

The process has now changed such that individual skill levels and development weightings are assigned at the point of entry to the junior school. This is fine, there is no practical difference.

You will now also not have a precise idea of what the junior's skill and talent rating are at any point, because it is dependent on the RNG displaying a result that is corrected for the coach's skill level.

Anyway obviously there is a lot of preference for eye candy over accurate information, so I won't bother posting in this thread again.

was wondering wuth happend to those juniors taht dunt play ofeten do the progres willbe the same from those who plays ?

Yes, the training is not depending on playing in the matches.

I think you will need to see to believe. In fact even the devs are waiting to see the system at work. As usual, some corrections may be needed, but at first glance the new system is a clear improvement over the old. You will have more information, less uncertainty and more fun.

not sure about uncertainty.... and then i dont like that we will see age, removes much of excitement when you pull a brilliant+ 17-18 yo.
2009-12-03 06:30:23
you can always not check :)
2009-12-03 09:27:14
Will there be injuries and if so, what influence will they have?
2009-12-03 09:33:16
Juniors cannot be injured after the match i.e. if they are injured during the game they will make a speedy recovery directly after the game is finished. Yellow/Red cards and goals are not recorded either.

and training has nothing to do with playing, so no influence at all.

Actually I like it very much.
Removes a big possible disappointment from the pulls and there are already enough other random factors.
2009-12-03 23:01:13
Yup. You won't be so frustrated after your divine turns out to be a 20yo 3x excellent gk...
