So, for example my guy:

Eddie Scobie 16 solid outfield 22

I know that he is definitely 16 now. And when he is finally pulled in 22 weeks he will definitely be 18.

Is the coach always accurate on which position a player is or can he get that wrong?

maybe he can call this guy a Keeper, Player x, Goalkeeper excellent

Then pulled he looks like this...

weak stamina average keeper
good pace hopeless defender
adequate technique good playmaker
good passing hopeless striker

My guess is no.
The reason is that high-keeping fioeld players / high-whatever keepers are always high level juniors, with already high levels (excellent max) in other skills. For example, 3xExcellent keeper may get average defense, or magical field player may get average keeper, but still are GK/field players (in the sense that abilities are drawn as a keeper or as a field player -> different formula).

Hence, a GK in the youth squad will have skills generated by GK formula, and a field player in the youth squad will have skills generated by field player formula. That doesn't rule out high GK skill in a field player, but just as you could pull such a plaer before ;)

But remember, this is my guess :P

Another question... I have only one player assigned as GK. Considering that in 10 weeks he will be out of the YS, will I get a neww GK? Or i'll have to improvise until a new one arrives?

i might have the only youth team in saudi arabia, who do i play with? will i join a different country? or is there going to be created a few youth bot teams to play against?
