Subject: [news] Junior Teams
Could we play a match with only 6 juniors.
how it works when we sell a junior, we have one missing player to play a match.

i have a q..... if in my division i am the only that i have 11 juniors.... what will happen?
There seems to be a lot of excitement over this idea, but isn't it just that people want to see their juniors running around a pitch?
In gameplay terms I see this feature as a negative point. Hold the flaming, let me explain why.
Currently, you don't have a junior match feature, however what you do have is certainty over the quality of your juniors, and their talent. Thus you have the ability to truly manage your juniors and their development.
If a user becomes reliant upon the youth coach level as well as matches to determine a junior's talent and ability, then there's an entirely new degree of uncertainty, and now you no longer know what your junior's talent and ability is. (Given enough weeks in the junior school you will be able to derive from analysis a reasonable estimate, but that's another story, and I don't really feel like having to work at a game)
An unearthly coach will surely not be able to give 100% accuracy in reports on a junior, and thus you bring uncertainty into your youth development.
There are aspects of Sokker I really don't like, like the HT-style training, but you can PM me for my thoughts on that. One thing I DO like about Sokker is that the uncertainty is largely kept to matches and youth pulls, and you can otherwise properly manage your team.
So if you think that watching some meaningless junior matches is a fair exchange for accurate junior school information, good for you, but for me this is a big step backwards.

Would it be possible to play junior matches with juniors who are ready to leave the school if they are not promoted yet?
For instance, if You have divine junior supposed to come out of school as 20 yo at the end of the season, i guess some managers would be ready to leave him in a school forever just to have stronger YS team.

also, is preferred position going to be set for juniors who are already in school? and in old system, were junior skills already assigned when he was joining school or were they randomly generated at the moment he was pulled?
1) all juniors will be set as keeper or field player
2) in old system they were generated when pulled
2) in old system they were generated when pulled
so, in that case I guess it's better to wait with pulling my unearthly junior who is supposed to leave school this Thursday until changes take place 'cause that would decrease a chance for him of having a high goalkeeper skill assuming his suitable position won't be a keeper? Or I'm mistaken?

I've no idea...
on the one hand it sounds reasonable to me.
on the other hand - why should high levels get less keeper skill than today? probably the formula won't be changed. And who knows if the change will work completely bug-free? I wouldn't take the risk and pull him before, but it's only my opinion.

now is possible to find junior with talent 3.1 and you have assured that he will be one of best in his age, it is too easy thanks to that talent is so accurate and that is really boring ! i really like the change
this is actually big step forward !

I agree, the accuracy of talent estimations kind of defeats the purpose of it being a hidden skill, now you can be surprised at the progress of a player
one other thing that I haven't seen mentioned is that it is going to make it more interesting when you get new youths in your school, he may read as poor and actually be adequate, or a youth that at first looked like he was a good may only be average in reality, so team will be more likely to hold onto new recruits to get a better idea of what they are actually like, which is way more realistic. As it stands now I wish there was a button that just said 'reject all youths below average' because that is all I do!

I'm going to make a screenshot of my current youthsquad. When changes take place, I can compare and see what happens :)
Can we watched the matches of juniors like in Senior team?
