if players move on the field in exactly the way you put them then the realism factor would be gone. do you really want to be able to put some player entirely out of range of the opponent for example? now that would result in a boring mechanical looking match.
so the match engine does some things with these tactics to solve the differences between them and the players used on both sides. sometimes that does give the appearance of the match engine cheating.

sure i've seen it happen in my own matches against an opponent which is supposed to be better ... suddenly that 'great' defense you have decides to leave a gap somewhere so that the 'even greater' striker can score the number of goals which the match engine calculated.

but you know what? just like in any other game when a user knows how the match engine 'cheats' and abuses this knowledge he usually calls it a 'good tactic' instead of cheating haha

but even with the best players and the best tactic there's some randomness, some 'luck' needed to get some of these results and it keeps things interesting. yes, even Poland needs some 'luck', just not as much as teams with lesser players.

Offside trap is always a risk, especially when you play a defender with only solid tactical discipline ;-)

for me it was a fun game.. i didn't care about number of defenders.. i test strikers, that's all;)

is not cheating lol cuz is there for every one and for both sides lol ur work as DT is to figure how to take the best u can from players and taht means taking the best of the engine game by making the good tactic if u know how engine works u can make a better tactic and get better results

I saw Evlolghtos tactic. My opinion he do his job well against Poland with his weeker team.
