The superdivine coach was a joke, and actually, I didn't forget to put new players in defense after the two red cards :p

Just look at the match for that ;)


And our GK is not "Happy feet", so he can used his hands to stop too much long shots :p
But he made a great game, I admit :]

Unfair play ... all matches 5-0(over walk)... and 2 matches against Austria were played for good goal deference -it's dirty trick !!! Shame for both !

The two strikers were great i admit. Peru was very unlucky in that game, but the 7:13 shots does not say everything this is right.

The 6 which is a def/mid def replace the one who get the red card, but the 7 didn't take the place of the 6 cause he was still on the field :/
After the second red card, for n°6 xD, the 7 take the place of the 6 in defense.

but it is certainly not a calculated defeat or a personal arrangement that redounds to marcodona's (coach of austria) advantage.

India is winning 2-0. With such score this means they are going to World Cup! First surprise of this current WCQ cycle

And Malta wins 3-2 :) So no World Cup participation for India :) Quite a strange group, they have many unpredictable scores during the WCQ....

I think we deserved the win today. after we lost 5-2 in the first round we played really well today despite missing our 2 best strikers for injury. We than were lucky with the red card but I think it was a big mistake for india not to do a conditional order to replace the mid with one of the "double wingers"

that made our life a bit easier and although India had some chances , I think that overall we created much more and deserved to win. With this win it means India are out and Croatia and Denmark are in.

Overall except for 2 results I think Malta played a very good WCQ despite having 3 better teams. India played really well too in some games especially against Denmark and Croatia. Better luck next time.

First surprise will be Eesti missing the WC ;D

If it was a def who got a red card, you would have said the same.
Despite that, both wingers have no def skills, so putting them in a defmid position wouldn't make much sense. The red carded defmid has superdivine def, but he didn't act that way at all in his 41 minutes on the pitch.

But about the tendency of the game: from minute 1. I felt my players were underperforming, they all were a lot slower than the Maltese players, especially the defenders. Most 1 on 1 duels were lost, at least a bit surprising as Malta didn't play with their best strikers.
Most chances Malta created were after fumbles of the ball or (after the red card) defenders running into midfield. With 10 against 11 you can talk of a deserved win, I don't think Malta would have won without the red card.

Resuming, India played well during the tournament, had some luck against Danmark and Croatia, but run out of luck in the last match of the group. It would have been the biggest surprise of this WC, but somehow it wasn't to be.
