pfff belarus has beaten Hrvatska.... belarus is sooo weak... playing the same style...this is how they show their weakness... too bad... too bad... Hrvatska lost...

doesn't it show how good the tactic is? belarus has got weak players compared to international standards. still, they managed to steal 3 pts from the 9th placed Croatia with superb choice of players. Despite the fact that the win is partly due to Croatian tactic mistake, the final result is fair.

Ok, you're the coach, but even a coach can admit when he wins a match with luck ;)

Croatia: 2 one on one, the keeper in GOOD form saves. they hit the post twice. three times they escaped one on one with the GK but in last second one def comes and tackles the striker, and the ball bounces in the keeper hands...

1-0 final score...

USA picked up a very comfortable 5-0 win against Uruguay, it could and should have been even more goals, but I guess 5 will have to be enough!

Looks like we are almost dead certs to win our group.

Your tactic was great, but I cannot tell the same for Uruguay. It's a shame for such a strong team to play like this. You've won against Serbia as well so your job is 99% done, you may start preparing tactics for the World Cup finals :)

Yep, 4th time lucky!?

I have always won every single game of the world cup, except for in the semi-final/final of the competition. Hopefully I will be able to keep up the record....Without the loss in the later stages this time!

Edit: I had played two narrow strikers in a few recent USA NT games, I think the Uruguay coach decided to gamble that I would play the same tactic again.

I'm looking at the tactics he uses with his club team, as well as the one used in the game with Malaysia. I don't think gambling is his biggest problem.
