Subject: [NT]World Cup Qualifiers
Thats because you're a bad coach, ME hasn't to do with anything concerning you =))
if i had czeck republick or srbija, i was first in my qualification group, and if i wasn't that was because i dont deserve to be a nt manager!
I agree with you sundemo....I ve been playing this game for a long time like most of you and every time ME is changed every time people grumble and find an excuse for their results (sometimes I do it as well!). Its like when in real life you lose and blame the referee.
We ask for a "realistic" sokker but than we pretend that the best team always win.
I know that for people like me who has been playing this game for a long time sometimes all these changes are annoying, but keep in mind few things.
1) In reality not all best teams wins everytime despite being better. eg yesterday Norwich 1 - Arsenal 0 Arsenal dominated but they lost! Shall we ask FIFA to change the rules? Man City were losing till the last 10mins against WBA with WBA scoring from their first chance created whilst Man City were dominating the game despite playing with 10 players, N Ireland vs Portugal 1 - 1 with N Ireland scoring from their only chance and they were winning till the 80min if I am not mistaken. I can mention hundreds of games that end up this way.
2) Does everytime Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo dribble all their opponents and score? I guess no! sometimes they are well marked by very low skilled defenders. Eg. Italia vs Malta 2-0 Andrea Pirlo was outclassed from the match by an unknown maltese player. That does not make the maltese player better than Pirlo! He was better on the night. Mentioned Pirlo because at the moment he is in Superdivine form! another eg. Barcellona vs Chelsea last season. Barcellona dominated and Chelsea scored the only 2 chances created!
3) I think that we should be more innovative with tactics. If you keep on insisting with the same style for 7 matches and not getting results, maybe it is time to change a bit your tactic and style of playing.
I believe that most of the users left the game because the stronger teams that started this game long time ago were almost impossible to beat, now newcomers have a chance to succeed as well. In Malta we lost 3 old users and more than 60 newcomers who only played the game for few months.
Moreover one has to keep in mind that before we had games with ratings 60 vs 35 now we have 80 vs 65/70 which makes the game more close I guess with players from low teams doing less mistakes because they have better skills.
Moreover a super divine keeper can also do mistakes (Hart vs Poland , Neuer vs Sweeden) and sometimes you have a good keeper who on the day manages to play like a super divine keeper.
I play other manager games (not online) like football manager, I buy the best players and still dont win everygame.
I think that would be really boring and would get me leave the game immediately. The good thing about change is that it keeps you motivated and makes you adapt yourself to the new ME. This season I had some good and some bad results both in NT and with my Club. I tried different things , swapping players, change tactics, pulling strikers a bit back, pushing defense a bit forward etc etc to try to figure out the best style I can play whilst adopting my style and tactic to the players I have.
I know most of you wont agree with me but this is how I look at it personally.
If all the games are "planned" i.e the best team always win, football would be very boring and I am sure Sokker will be that way as well.

I think this ME sucks... but some coaches sucks too.
"intelligence is the ability to adapt to change"... certainly, some haven´t

Perhaps Russia's tactic worked even a tiny bit better, or it was their better players who made it look so. But both sides struggled to create chances, imho both teams had about 3 good 1on1 chances, mostly created by coincidence. I don't know why we could score them all and Russia none. I guess we've had our luck for this season :)
Anyway, impressive amount of upsets this week :o
Canada 1 : 0 Hrvatska
Australia 2 : 3 Crna Gora
Shqipëria 3 : 0 Rossiya
South Africa 2 : 0 Sverige
Bolivia 1 : 1 Argentina
Cymru 0 : 0 Al Maghrib
Malaysia 3 : 0 Danmark
Perú 0 : 0 Cameroun
Ukraina 1 : 1 Česká republika
And then several other matches which ended much closer than expected, like Eesti, Slovensko, Deutschland, Srbija, Magyarország etc.

This was a suprise win of course, but you can't argue on the fact SA did deserve this victory. You can't blame the ME on this one ;-)
And you'll see, in the end 90% of the topteams qualify for the World Cup. But it's always nice to see some surprises there.. it makes it more fun ;)

I have no problem with creating chances.
I have a problem with the implementation of these changes. One-on-one chance and penalties are very funny.
This time I missed two penalties with 18 Players form.
