Subject: [NT]World Cup Qualifiers

I have seen just now: Lietuva didn't play a friendly this season, why? the coach made that on purpose? or the community decided not to put at risk its own players?

Uruguay has a good team, but the coach lacks "something" or should i say the USA and Norway coaches are more experienced ...

You dont have to be ironic... please say what you got to say but dont try to explain yourself with false arguments. I am about a year (three seasons) older in sokker than USA or Norway coaches, and I've been Uruguayan NT coach in the past before. Anyway... I believe the other coaches are great coaches, but I am sure that a victory or defeat wont be explained by lack of experience. Perhaps you could define your "something" more clearly.

That somethings i guess is a combination of :creativity(in tactics ofc) and magical touch(luck +intuition)

And i am not being ironic, i say everything directly, and don't think i consider you weak, you are a good coach, but i see you fighting only with USA for the second place, Norway is too strong for you imho

I kind of had this magical touch (luck mainly) in the World Cup, now it is gone. Tell me how to get it back :D

No problem. You can think what you want. I just wanted to have a definition of the "something" and now I have but I see I cant do anything to get the something (because, as far as I now, nobody can become lucky by improvement, intuitive or develop a magical touch)

Clearly I'm just playing the "old" tactics, not developing any new ones. Still the past two matches have been a disgrace to good old German Football.

Well you have the chance to show us something with Russia in the Qualifiers. Though I won't be the coach then anymore. :-)

You should have played some more Friendlies.
I learned my skills mainly from some very good helping hands (or minds) in the German [NT] Forum and from analyzing every single game we played and analyzing every game that was of any interest for our team. And I managed to make a difference in every game sometimes only by a tiny bit (like argentina) or by a bigger margin (like brasil). Till Poland came and I had no offensive players left... ;-)

Really. :P I've played 3 seasons worth as friendlies before this one as NT coach. More seasons than I care to count I have been involved with tactics before that. This season didn't matter anymore after the last NT game. I certainly didn't need to learn anything anymore as I was to quit. Didn't seem reasonable to me to risk players for no reason at all.

As for analyzing games... I've been doing that the past 3.5 years. I just deleted screenshots of over a 1,000 NT games. No less than 25 screenshots per game. I could recreate the tactics used in almost every game. Please, pretty please, do not lecture me over analyzing games. The amount of work which went down the drain because of singularly bad luck with the ME just isn't funny anymore.
