The daytrader rule could be obliterated simply by having players on a minimum 4 week contract on signing with the club.
no I´m not jelaus:P a couple months ago I considered myself as a daytrader, but seeing that darren has done 2x as many boughts in 2 years as I have done in 4 years.. mnyeah.. anyways didn´t you thought about how much $$ $$$ $$$ you would lose if you really are agree with this?:P
I am actually very satisfied with the current market:P
Really now? And who exactly are these 'most of us?'
( I haven't read the previous posts, so sorry if I'm repeating now )
- to transfer players over their fair market values
If their are managers who really want to pay that amount of money, than that IS his market value. It's only cheating if you're paying extremely to much ( for instance when you've got a lot of money and you're quitting with Sokker ) or if you make an agreement with the seller to buy a way to big price. In my opinion of course.

Well, it's a matter of who can tell if the agreement price is way high or not.
I mean, if someone is desperate to buy a trainee (he suits in his training plan perfectly, or in order to make him a NT player), he probably won't care if the seller asks for money that this player doesn't deserve.
It happens (I can name at least 2 players) and I think that it will not stop happening in the future as well.

"most of us" are ordinary users like me who see their talented players getting sold for hundreds of euros, while others with same skills or less talented are sold for millions.
"most of us" are also no-daytraders.
so just to complete the first post, something also has to be done on daytrading as well.

I remember a few season ago i wanted to buy the best Israeli striker we had by than , that striker has a lot of meaning to me as he played a big part in the best WCQ Israel ever had when i coched them and i just wanted to buy him and i didnt care about the price.
I agreed with the owner on a price , it was a high one and over the market value , but i didnt care about the money , than we asked the admins about it and they said they will reduce the price to market value if ill pay the high price we agreed on , so the owner of course didnt want to sell...
(I did brought him some seasons later , King Gabrin...;-)
My point here is that there are situations where people agree to pay a price which is over the market value (by quite much) because they just want a certain player , for their reasons , and if the two users have no problem with the price so i dont see a problem in that , its the buyer "fault" that he wants to pay a high price..
I dont think that its too hard to see if someone wants to buy a player for high price just to cheat or just because he quites sokker , at least in cases where the two users who agreed on a high price tell it to the admins so that they will no there is no cheating here..
Besides , sometimes there are players which its almost imposible to say their market value , 1-2 seasons ago i had a 20m euro offer (i think it was more but i dont remember since he isnt for sale at any price) on Dvir and his "dry" market value of course was much lower i belive , so how can you decide about the price...
About daytrading , im with Nin on that , should be something like 3-4 weeks contract with every new player..

Well, I actually disagree. It is definitely no problem for these two users, but it sucks for the others. If one of my league opponents sells a player for a ridiculously high price I am not too happy, since he gets an unfair advantage over the other teams. But that's what TPA is for - the buyer will have to pay what he offered, but the seller will only get a "reasonable" amount of money;-).
Of course I agree with other posts I read here, that TPA is not very transparent. But lets be honest, that is also true for many other aspects of Sokker (form for example), where it acually is more annoying;-).
I agree that rather than regulating the prices, I would regulate the duration how long a player has to stay in a club. I just don't like to see that some players are sold for a multitude of their purchasing price 3 weeks later. Just because the first few weeks of the season transfer prices often go insane for example. I would really welcome if players had to stay at least half a season (or even a whole season) in a club before they can be sold. It would be more realistic when compared to RL soccer, and it would also favour long-term planning...

I think this one should be regulated too :

I agree, its way too high considering the weak team who is selling!
I only want to say that it's a bit hypocrite to open a topic like this when the fundament of your team is daytrading on a high level.
grrrrrr,
It was my player and beside the fact that he was legend for our NT, I was willing to sell him only for someone who I trust and that will keep train him, I was too stupid to behave fair and should have sell him and keep quiet cause after that I saw in at least 5 other players that were sold for at least 50% over their market value and no money was taken from the sellers (though I reported them and even gave the players to compare too).
But after reading the blog of one ex-mod that was suspended (and publish a teard in the global that was erase 3 minutes too late),about "how too cheat in Sokker, I realize that the Staff is doing almost nothing in tring to make this game clear.

I absolutely agree with you
Maybe all players on TL should be regulated except Darren's players...
