@ Gael Garcia: for me it is unnecessary for two reasons. The first is stated by Väinämöinen and for me the result would be that there would be many disputes and probably bans (or at least people will leave the game because they will feel offended) between users from Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. An example of such a situation could be seen during the name dispute of FYROM/Macedonia.

The second is the fact that the people who were responsible for creating a name list for the players of Cyprus added many Turkish-Cypriot first and last names in order to achieve inclusion of that part of Cyprus. You can see that if you read the names of the players of the national team of Cyprus. Thus, I find your idea redundant.

@Tolis6520: The way that Greece reacted during the invasion isn't also an honourable thing to say and remember that the coin has always 2 sides. But if I continue to talk the discussion will go off-topic.

@Charles Hill: Everyone has his/her opinion and has also the right to express it. You can agree, disagree, criticize on it but you shouldn't make fun of a person's opinion, because, in that way, you create stereotypes by being prejudiced against the fact that a greek person might have such an opinion.

I don't think Sokker needs more small countries with 10 active teams (max 10 if they are lucky) in 3 divisions (3 divisions is 168 teams) :/

The Devs should reduce the divisions for those countries in order to make it playable for those managers.....

Or, for example, create an unique championship including all africans countries .... keeping national teams, of course....

Or creating championships by linguistic areas ( or geographic areas) could be created..." Africa french speaking"....."Africa english speaking"...."Africa portuguese speaking"

A lot of african countries are not represented,important countries who won african cup of nations by the past or played World Cups like Ethiopia, Sudan, Congo, Ivory coast, Angola, Togo and else.....

What about Middle East countries???? Koweit, Irak, Qatar, Bahrein, Oman, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine authority ..... All playing in a championship "Arabic speaking ".....some of them played World Cups, Irak reached the semi final of the U20 World Cup this summer......

They can create a "Central Asia area", including Kazakhstan, Ouzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kirghizistan, Mongolia.....
India is represented ......why not Pakistan???? and else and else.......

New small countries are not a problem, the problem is "how to make their championships interesting and playable ??"

I also think it is a good idea to put a number of very small Sokker countries in 1 competition, like an Africa competition, Oceania competition and Middle East competition, and maybe also an Central America competition and North America competition.

But this is already suggested to the DEVs, unfortunatly never been implemented so far.

but whos gonna do that? would be too much work for devs. but personally i think the idea good

sure that we would find coaches ready for helping... for my part, i'll be ok for giving some of my time creating new countries...

i think that sokker need new countries....

1) in order to add new players.
2) in the aim to reajust world cup's groups (16*7)....what is not the case at that moment...

so, 14 new countries should be created.

1) - add new players? those users in other countries would add the players.

trust me playing in small country is ... pointless.

i see top polish managers getting 350,000 euro a week, I can get 270k in ireland. and probably not much higher ever.
unless usercount will be 100, imo its not worth it to have own country. we should have been merged into a uk thing ages ago.

New countries could be added, as long as these countries don't get their own competition (yet) but are put together in a merged competition like an (North) Africa competition, an Oceania competition, an UK competition, etc, because it is indeed pointless to have competitions which can't even fill 2 divisions with active managers and a 3th division for new managers without to many botteams.

To be able to signup to your own country is a good thing, but to end up in a competition with only 4 other active managers isn't much fun.
