Opps , it was suppose to be in this topic...
:-O
I just want to write what i think (its not a comment for something, just my toughts...)
What sokker needs first is MARKETING.
It all starts from that , good marketing plan will rise the number of users , number of users rise = more money from pluses = more money to invest in the game and make it better in all aspects = making it better will bring more users and more will be willing to pay for the plus.
Not only that, getting more visits on the site will help attracting some publishers = more money.
As part of my job in real life im also an Internet marketer as one of the things im doing, and i offered to greg a few weeks ago to invest in marketing sokker on the social media sites and platforms, this game can gain a lot from it and it is realy a must, the costs of social media marketing are realy low (at least the prices im talking about) and with that small investment the potential to gain more users will rise and will continue to rise all the time thanks to the viral marketing that social media platforms are giving us...
After some talks i got of course a "no" as he didnt want to do that, i think the reasons are:
- They make enough money anyway so why invest some of it , even if its a small sum , in marketing it and making it bigger and more known for the reasons i wrote above.
- Making it bigger will may cause the need to have more servers / stronger ones and maintainance will cost more.
- They dont care as they prefer to leave the game amatuer and make small adjustments once in many seasons...
Bottom line is that (with no offending anyone) , this game is an amateur game , unlike the oTHer game , even that he is way "weaker" on the game himself (at least for me), they are pros and its a business where the ones who manage are treating it like that , here it looks like the ones who manage it are sitting on their couch and not looking at it like a business and understanding what they can and should achive..

You really are a thick skinned, you have no shame.
I just don't need you here, mock somewhere else and at somebody else
This should have been the complete quote and the message. Can be any international forum (with mods), it doesn't mean you can be arrogant, cheeky and shameless, and I have the right to say it.
Let me explain you something what you don't know because of your lack of education: when you post on forums (hidden in the backside of a computer), you have to imagine yourself in a real discussion, like in the real life with everybody face to face 1. if everybody are laughing, you cracked a joke and you have humor 2. if some are laughing but one (because you offended him or you made him a discomfort by mocking), it means you were wrong and it wasn't humor but lack of common sense. And you can imagine what would be the consequences in the real discussion.
The same here: it's up to the common sense, not to the, so called, liberty of an international forum. I didn't invent this, it's a fact, common sense should exist. Otherwise, everybody is a brave urchin when he's "hidden" on computer, just make it in the real life and you'll see I'm right.
Secondly, since you started posting here, you're always off-topic (and you provoke me to be off-topic), so you're crossing the game's forum rules. Please stop it or I ask a Mod to intervene.
I'm done with you.

LOL
Read your post, and edit all arrogant quotes out of it... and see how much will stay. Not much... better to say, nothing.
"Please stop it or I ask a Mod to intervene."
Do not be shocked if it will work against your posts. :P

With new users its the same like if you met new girl. You first care about her look and after it whats "in her" (mostly). Problem is if look isnt so great, you probably stop searching for other things...
I think its the same with sokker and new users, look is ugly and only small number of new users start to search for forums etc. and last here longer than one or two sign on...

LMAO, i guess i will make my final post in this funny off-topic conversation with you :
it doesn't mean you can be arrogant, cheeky and shameless, and I have the right to say it.
Show me in the rules where is written that i can't be so?
EDIT: Oh, so i don't have the right to be arrogant, cheeky and shameless(as you think i am,which is wrong), while you have the right to say that , kinda non-sense i consider this statement
Let me explain you something what you don't know because of your lack of education:
Don't judge a person you don't know just because you are older. As you wrote from point 1 and 2, i must confess i really do talk face to face the same way here, cause i talk this way with people i consider appropriate and won't start arguing and just will have a laugh, cause as you know a person who can laugh on a joke about himself is a smart person. In case the person is older and i have at least a bit of respect to him i do not talk like usual, moving on to a more formal way of talking.
You can ask moldovan users if i talk truth, as i talk in sokker the same way i do at the off-line meetings.
Secondly, since you started posting here, you're always off-topic
Are you sure? Take a look at the first page, i guess i wasn't always off-topic ;)
EDIT2: ...challanging you to go off-topic, well if you were smart enough you would've ignored my posts :P
P.S. Talking frequent about "common sense" , over and over again , in such a harsh world it makes the feeling you don't have a strong will and character.
P.P.S. As i said you pay to much attention to things that are not that important, get over it. MOVE ONE!

That could be. I have told a lot af friends about sokker. Most of them came from HT. The most of them stopped playing this game unfortunately. They told me, they found this game too difficult. In HT it is easy. you buy some midfieldtrainees and you start playing. You do not have to think much.
In sokker it is more difficult. You have to make a trainingsheme, you have to find out if your trainees have good enough talent. You have to make good tactics etc. For many people it is not what they are looking for. It coluld be there are other reasons for other users, but this was the complain i heard the most.

It it true...I have problem, sokker is for me boring now. I´ve tried a lot of things such as change of training but its still the same. There is no progress in making new features. Only one thing is keeping me here, to train young players...
For me there is no need for new things. I like the game as it is. I see enough challanges to play along. I only have one real wish, and that is for indivual ages for every player.
I would like it if more people would play this game, but i am in doubt that the solutions i read here will make more people stay.

YES, your point is very valid, in my opinion, and I'm happy to see somebody having so clear conception in a very important area of every game/business.
I've never thought on marketing, I was focusing on the professional job of a very good football simulator, that's why my opinion for any online game is to work very closely with real football professionals (players, former players, coaches), as this would be the way to make a professional football simulator and to avoid abnormal and weird situations on the pitch, since the major grievances are from that area. Some called it: the common sense of real football normal/basic situations, like not to run with the ball towards you own goal or from the middle of the pitch to out of the sideline, or not to pass dangerously the ball backward so often, or not to play without goalkeeper, or not to have so many red cards and injuries during friendlies 'cause it's not real, and so on....all of real football common sense situations.
I could see that these are the complaints of the majority and I think this is the major cause of losing more and more users lately.
It's pretty clear for me that the professional work (with profs of real football) to fix the technical problems here, doubled with the good markenting strategy you've been talking about in your post, this two would be the way to revive the sokker.
As you said, question is what are the reasons of their answer "no" to you, and why are they so reluctant of fixing the technical issues in the real football manner. I want to find the answer, because I want the best, not just another certain (good) online game, the best football simulator. This will decide if I keep going with sokker or not.

May I propose to you that if you write these long posts, try to keep them more readable. For instance, you could have extra line between paragraphs, that would help a lot. Letters are small, background doesn't help readers etc.
Here is your previous post, sorted out:

All of this talk is pointless. I think we've gotten to the point now where there is a need for the devs to actually come out and say what their intention for this game is, or if they even have one.
By saying nothing they're giving the impression that they don't have any idea, which makes me question why I'm bothering with this game. When the users of this game appear to care about it more than the owners, it's a matter of time before the enthisiasm starts to drain away from everyone.

they intention is obviously kill the game, the could not done it better
