Maybe more ideas are used but the topics has never been updated with [IMP] ? Hope that's the case .. ;)
I also think not much is needed, I like this game for what it is. But some updates to make it more 2011 would be nice. And sometimes new things has to be implemented to keep everyone interested. Always the same can become a bit boring.

There are a few things that can make it easier to comunicate and i think that is the most important thing about this.
A official chatbox
Choose 8 importants managerpacts so you can go fast to your favourite managers.
+ tipster thing definitely has to change, now it's just to boring because it wil not remember alle bets

how much would it cost to greg&cia to buy HT?
Then they could do so many things, as closing Ht and sending the users to sokker :P
ah1 and a change of name would be useful, sokker is so weird for a football game

I have read this entire topic and it is very interesting to see your opinions here. I have been a big fan of football managers games for years but I stopped playing PC based managers 10 years ago as I got bored of playing against AI oponents who aren't actually playing other games but instead their results are generated in a different, shorter way than player's games.
When I heard about online managers last year, I immediately started investigating thoroughly their quality. First recommendations I got were for HT and Sokker and I started playing them simultaneaously. Two months later I realised that HT is a joke compared to Sokker and I could not understand the difference in number of users. The reason for that is well explained here by Sharoni123.
HT is a professional business and Sokker is rather amateurish. But, I couldn't care less for that when Sokker is so much convincingly a better product. I am the kind of consumer that always looks right through the marketing package and looks for the actual product. Sokker is by far the best product of this kind on the market.
I am not playing this game to be part of a large community. I am playing it for the fun of the game and I would still play if there would be only a few thousands users. I don't need a million users. All I need is this very good match engine where I can watch every event in the match, only 8 important player skills enabling me to quickly see differences between players, flexible tactic editor where I can position my players in detail, simple user interface, logical junior school and training system, well functioning player market and reasonably made and sustainable economy part of the game.
I have all that in Sokker and it is the only game out there having all these features that are in my opinion crucial for good game experience. Only Managerzone comes close to Sokker in this market but its most important parts of such games, match engine and tactic editor, are far more worse than here. I have a club there as well but I am rarely actually watching the matches. It is not nearly as exciting as Sokker matches which I usually can't wait to see even in the junior league. MZ is simmilar to HT much more commercially oriented so you even have game advantages for subscribers which is totally ruining the spirit of the game. I expect that soon I will only play Sokker as I progress more in this game.
After playing Sokker for 8 months I am sure that these changes are absolutely necessary:
- much lower probability of cards and injuries in friendlies
- preventing usage of injury avoiding tactics (positioning most players near the corner flag) although part of the problem would be resolved by fixing previous problem
- I didn't know that it is possible to play without a goalkeeper but someone from the field should definately replace the goalie in such situations, even at random choice.
I am sure that there are many more possible fixes, but I personally find these 3 inexcusable as they are drastically against common sense and easily repairable. I know that match engine is very stupid at times but I am also aware that ME is the most important and demanding part of the game which is not easy to balance.
I agree that every game needs development and I want to see improvements here as much as any user. But I also respect that development team is careful enough to make the changes that really improve the game. Also, I feel that it is important and it needs to be acknowledged that this is the best product of this kind out there for sophisticated players. Users who are able to get a thrill out of HT, I do not consider serious nor to be material for a long-term Sokker user. I am personally sure that I will play Sokker for years.

Today, on U21 matches, we saw new features on Sokker Motor Engine.
Very good post of you.
And I very agree with you in:
I am sure that there are many more possible fixes, but I personally find these 3 inexcusable as they are drastically against common sense and easily repairable.
as this is obvious for everybody who treats the game in the sportsmanship.
