Guys, player got a red card in a National Cup game yesterday, can he play CC?

He should, but I don't know how it's coded.

I don't think he can. Cards count in all official matches and CC is an official match afaik. Same goes if a player gets a red card in Champions Cup, he can't play on Sunday in the league game.

That's correct our special bot. Red cards count for official games.
