maybe if you clear your cache and reload sokker you will not see them that big! the size is just right.
the game you are mentioning tells you immediately that the game is NOT serious
I think that you are just making a big deal and fuss for nothing about these pictures.
They are just meant to add some fun in the game. Unfortunately too much people take this game too seriously....even when someone loses I notice various times threat messages, grumbling, suicide notes and crying. Mostly saying that they pay plus.....20 Euros a year or something similar ohhhh what a big deal you go bankrupt with 20euros which you can easily.....errrmmmm....let me see...... not pay!
I think yesterday because of this feature around 200 hang themselves, 150 died with an overdose, 355 were admitted in a psychiatric hospital, 322 went on heroin and 272 started themselves on anti-depressants because they could not stand these pictures!
Come on look at the bright side....be funny....dont take A GAME too serious ITs JUST A GAME and nothing else!!!
Be sure that if Devs see that they are losing users because of this feature they will just change it....no big deal.......till then chill out and have a laugh over it......no big deal.....don't take A GAME too serious!
Otherwise for the rest of the users just switch it off it is really so simple to do it if you dont like it....it will absolutely make no difference to you.....as regarding new users leave it to the Devs to see how they are going to attract people.
What difference will it make for you if next week instead of 200 new users there are 100?......I guess nothing.....it will just make a difference to them.....so if this doesn't work be sure that they will do something about it....no big deal.
Till than just have a good laugh or be too serious and remove the feature and everything will just look as nice as before. No need to start an Inquisition!
If you are playing an online GAME you are not spending your precious free time....you are just finding a way to pass time cause you have nothing else to do! I use my free time to spend time with my wife, to go out, go for a walk and travel......I play online game when i just have absolutely nothing else to do! If you use online games to pass your free time than you either need a girl or you need to get a life!
It is very strange that all of a sudden everyone is so worried about new users and worried that as from today so many users are not going to join sokker cause nowhere most of you ppl seem to put a post regarding how to attract new users or the fact that users are leaving the game.
In fact there is a forum here Why sokker has few users and the last post goes back to almost a month ago and only 7 pages in 4 months whilst here already 10 pages in less than 24hrs!!
...I think you dont like them and you are using the new changes to grumble and to try to get rid of them! Worry about you team.....leave the worries about new users to Devs, Admins, Mods,Promoters and Tutors...thats why they are there!
What I ve seen in these last few days is people grumbling about the new ME, people grumbling about the new FB thing because its "ruining their privacy and reputation" and people grumbling about these new faces.
few months ago I've seen people grumbling about the new youth system and people grumbling about the new youth league. Now I also managed to find people grumbling even how the promotion/relegation system works.
If you don't like this game that much may I ask why the hell you play it at the first place?
Is it possible that whatever it is done you always find a way to grumble?
They are doing changes to try to get new users.....if they dont manage they will try to find other ways...THATS ALL!
Again if you dont want to see the faces just go to your profile and switch them off. NO BIG DEAL!
and I rest my case cause I cant stand all this grumble anymore....I just wrote much more than enough I think...or not :P.........I m just going to watch my junkie players instead cause I LOVE THEM!....even better....I am going out cause I have some FREE time!

Because apart from the strange design, the faces imply that this is not a serious game! That's their first impression! Do you think it is good? I don't think so.
that's what I said in staff forum - the pics might fit for a kid fun game, but not for the most realistic football simulation in the web. But the decision had been made before we knew about the feature, so there was not much discussion.

i preffered to see some more engine changes in game even with excellent players and not only with superdivine players. in my games i can keep see a brilliant defender having the ball in the midfield and giving pass back to noone!!!

but gregs data say that most people who found the on/off button for the pics in the end decided to keep them, so maybe we don't get a correct impression if we regard only forum active users.
It's never exact to only consider the users on the forum... but the lack of communication to the staff... that saddens me.
err..just want to ask, I have login to facebook. but I didn't find sokker game...where is it? I want to try play sokker with facebook... :)
All those who say it is a problem with the faces cause the new users wouldnt think it is a serious game, well you can only see them if you have plus.

Well, i must agree that it makes the game look more childish , i think they must make some adjustments as i wrote on the bugs and ideas forum how it can improve , some small adjustments like taking the background of the pics off and making them all wear a shirt with the team colors (and leaving maybe the most "normal" faces and it all will look different in a positive way, im sure about it.

Cant agree on that, there is no doubt there where many bad changes that have been done (yes, the junior system that was just perfect and it was ruined for no reason and i still dont see what was the point there..) but i dont remember even 1 time where something was changed back if it was a bad idea...

I don`t understand the fuss about these players` faces. On your settings page use the option not see them and problem solved.
