Your statistics are showing nothing at all.. They recently joined yes, how long will it take you think before they stop playing?

I've tried many times in the past to gain new users.. We were succesfull at one point in it in Belgium. We had over 3000 users I guess.. But due to the fact that design just wasn't attractive (and still ain't all that) and user friendly and some other things, we are now only left with about 1000 users I think..

Don't tell me not to grumble, I have my reasons to do so as I'm very familiar with the devs just being ignorant to what most users have to say.

devs ignoring our ideas is another topic....i somehow agree with you on that.....I think the playability should keep users in the game and I will never change sokker playability with any other game....the design help but there are much more attractive games which sucks when you play them and at the end you still end up leaving them.

Once you get to know Sokker, it's one of the best online manager games there is imo.. There is still very much potential for this game, and they have to take advantage of that!!

But somehow users don't stay around to get to know it.. It used to be mainly because of the design, but this has improved a lot..

Imo, devs should first work on getting the core really really finished. Making sure it's a user friendly game and I think it would be best to give this game a completely new design.. This one was still based on the old one.. I think we should skip this context and introduce a whole new one.

I was indeed wrong in the sentence you quoted. There I said they'll quit because of the faces.. That isn't entirely true..

Those faces are just one extra factor to let those users decide to just stop playing this game.

Look, my favorite color is red, don't know what yours is, let's say blue. We can argue for hours and hours if red is better as blue, but at the end we will still disagree :) That's the thing about taste.

It would be nice if we could make the faces ourselfs when players are still in junior school. That way you can make players the way you like them to be in the future.

All this controversy here on this topic and on others related to, I think is useless and a kind of false/artificial. After all, not these opinions here will decide the future of the game, and how successful will be the faces implementation or not.
Above opinions I could read here, the reactions are more up to the TRUST, the trust in devs as they are doing the right way, considering that a lot of necessary fixing/improving are still undone, the communication is bad, the users feel that good ideas are not taken in consideration.

I think that users shouldn't fight here for something, everybody is free for opinion but no need two antagonistic camps, the problem is not here but somewhere higher.

If I would be DEV I also wouldn't discuss to much on this forum, 10.001 different opinions, it will only cause more confusion as solutions :) But somekind of survey of the managers can't hurt I think (hope this is ok english :P), but that's up to the owners of this game and that aren't we ;)

It's funny how everyone claims that faces are useless, a waste of time, and that basically no one cared about faces in the first place. "They should do something about the important things". We had 3 packs of updates in a very short period of time:

2011-03-09
2011-03-19

These included a substantial improvement of the match engine, a change in new teams' league assignment system, etc. But the only changed that lead to a true flood of sokker forums is... players' faces :P

Anyway, did anyone else have problems with the new filter in transfer searches?
