Seems that no one has some sense of humor thats the whole story. You are taking this too seriously imho.
Regarding new users, before they register they wont see faces they just see black screens so that s not the problem. Only users with plus will see them later on. Im sure new users will not bother about new faces...its us who ve been playing the game for long who seem to bother about them.
Actually for me they are just a good laugh no big deal.

Yes, you would have done it differently, another one thinks that is a really bad idea and wants it to be something completely different as you etc etc ... ;) Nothing will every be done if everyone must be happy with changes.

I think they should use the pics on SV or the real pics they tried these ones are awful but funny
Those photos are great. One of the best of this kind of online ingame photos. Absolutely fantastic, though some nationality-matching would seem appropriate.
I don't care for the facebook add, doesn't bother me and I don't need it so...whatevs :)

You are able to see pictures of your players now, it is available for plus users and for newly registered users who will see it for a few days after registration.
I wanna use the facebook integration for easy acces but not this pictures.Can i make this ?
Uhm... some long time ago I played a manager game called Sunday League Manager. It was a funny game which didn't take itself too seriously so you didn't take it seriously either. You were controlling a classic 'Sunday league' team (google it if you're not familiar with the term) with bartenders, butchers and barbers playing for you and the funny player pictures were completely fitting with the atmosphere of the game.
However, I don't think Sokker is meant to represent this kind of amateur football so when I look at a player who plays in the Premiership for instance, I'm not really happy when I realize that a drug addict or a Jacko-lookalike is looking back at me from the photo. I know that people were probably working hard on this, spending their precious free-time to try and make something appealing, but you're doing it wrong. If I would be a new user and I would take a look at my players I would probably say: "what the f is this, these are probably the most disgusting player faces I've ever seen in a manager game!" My mind would be blown away and I'd probably even forgot to look at my players' skills :] As a new user, I might be unable to find the option to turn the faces off and I dare to say that this impact would make me turn off the browser immediately and go look for another game. Why? Because apart from the strange design, the faces imply that this is not a serious game! That's their first impression! Do you think it is good? I don't think so.
Just look at the forums, the majority of the users are terrified and are asking how to turn off these images. Do you really expect to attract new users with this when so much people don't like the feature? You can't even say that this is a minor change which won't have a big effect on the overall look of the game, as the pictures are so big and the appearances are so unusually shocking and unfitting to the world of football, that they're magnetizing your attention towards them, you simply can't look away. The focus of the entire players page moved onto those pictures even for me, who is not a Plus user currently so I can only see a bunch of - rather suspicious - shadows.
I'm usually always trying to see the positive side of the changes even if they seem bad at first, but now it's different because I can't find any good in this. I rarely raise my voice against something so drastically and openly, but this is probably the most enraging feature I've ever seen in this game. I don't mean to be rude towards the people who worked on this diligently, and I frankly appreciate the effort, but it's just too shocking for me to remain silent. It's too early to say it's a joke for April Fool's Day, isn't it? :/

You are right, if I logged in today first time and saw those faces I would quit and never came back again. This is simply a disaster - why don't you ask US, the players, about the improvements we want? What about fixing the passing back when on attack or the disastrous corner kicks ending 95% of the times out of the field? Please, please, don't do eRepublik from this game.

maybe if you clear your cache and reload sokker you will not see them that big! the size is just right.
the game you are mentioning tells you immediately that the game is NOT serious
I think that you are just making a big deal and fuss for nothing about these pictures.
They are just meant to add some fun in the game. Unfortunately too much people take this game too seriously....even when someone loses I notice various times threat messages, grumbling, suicide notes and crying. Mostly saying that they pay plus.....20 Euros a year or something similar ohhhh what a big deal you go bankrupt with 20euros which you can easily.....errrmmmm....let me see...... not pay!
I think yesterday because of this feature around 200 hang themselves, 150 died with an overdose, 355 were admitted in a psychiatric hospital, 322 went on heroin and 272 started themselves on anti-depressants because they could not stand these pictures!
Come on look at the bright side....be funny....dont take A GAME too serious ITs JUST A GAME and nothing else!!!
Be sure that if Devs see that they are losing users because of this feature they will just change it....no big deal.......till then chill out and have a laugh over it......no big deal.....don't take A GAME too serious!
Otherwise for the rest of the users just switch it off it is really so simple to do it if you dont like it....it will absolutely make no difference to you.....as regarding new users leave it to the Devs to see how they are going to attract people.

If you are playing an online GAME you are not spending your precious free time....you are just finding a way to pass time cause you have nothing else to do! I use my free time to spend time with my wife, to go out, go for a walk and travel......I play online game when i just have absolutely nothing else to do! If you use online games to pass your free time than you either need a girl or you need to get a life!

If you don't like this game that much may I ask why the hell you play it at the first place?

They are doing changes to try to get new users.....if they dont manage they will try to find other ways...THATS ALL!
