So what if you help newbies and attract more users!? That's got nothing to do with what I just wrote. That doesn't mean that you want them to have the game itself be any easier than it was for you. That only means you want to show them how the game works and for them to accept it as it is right now and as you did. You want them to share your viewpoint on sokker and you surely don't want them training players with no cards and injuries because you had to work your ass around that madness for 6 years and you have adapted to it just fine. You want them to adapt as well. You will even tell them how to do it. What does your tutorials have to do with you not wanting that new users have easier and more fun gameplay than you did!?

And of course you now got "offended". Nice way for avoiding really difficult answers such as why the hell wouldn't we compare cards and injuries to RL football and other football games. Just because you don't like to be reminded of common sense.

So, once again: sokker 0,4 RCs per match, Bundesliga and Premiership 0,18 RCs per match. That says it all. There's too much of red cards here. Also, even more importantly, they happen too early in the matches having even more influence on the results. Furthermore, there are absolutely no manager tools for avoiding them. Oh, sorry, there is one: Corner tactics!? Brilliant! Just brilliant...

My solution to this problem (already posted it, but will do it again.....):

I was thinking about this. Maybe you can introduce 'Game play' in the match orders, with 3 options how the team must play: 'Careful', 'Normal' and 'Hard'.

If a manager choose:
'Careful' - players will avoid making tackles so they won't get that many cards and also avoid duels for the ball when injuries can happen. Ofcourse this option will also reduce the chance to win duels for the bal and win the match.
'Normal' - just as it is at the moment.
'Hard' - players will play harder so more chance getting cards and more chance to get injuries. But with this option they play more fanatic so there is more chance to win duels for the ball and win the match.

All options should only have effect on your own team, so playing 'Hard' won't give the opponent more cards or more injuries.

EDIT: idea now also posted on the test server so DEVs don't forget it :)

Yes, that is a great idea. But until it gets implemented in 5 years, they should first simply reduce probability of cards and injuries by half because at the moment there is simply too many of them.

you play football manager?
It would be very difficult to make - Normal, Hard.

they are not able to make a captain tape for 7 years.

I'm not a programmer so I have no idea how difficult it is, I only think about possible solutions and it's up to the DEVs what to do with the ideas.

I tell you that this is impossible.
well actually I wouldn´t have nothing against it if they reduced the amount of injuries or not. buut, how this topic is being ran is way too agressive and demagogic to achieve something. after reading a couple of pages here, I instantly clicked "no" in the poll without even realising I actually don´t give a fuck if there would be less injuries/red cards in here or not.

and also. u are comparing here those reallife stats. like 0.40 vs 0.18.. well from another point of view. like very huge amounts of RL teams are having at least like 3+ injured or "out of order" players before each league match. sometimes even 7,8,9,10 players missing. I remember at some part of this premierleague season, almost the whole manchester united defence line was injured. so some mids played like LW positions and Carrick or something like that, don´t really remember anymore, in CB. I know this cause I played Fantasy PL. and now compered to that, how many players are sokker teams missing before each match? I´m quite sure the average number is smaller than in RL.

like a week or 2 ago, I had 5 injured players in my team and 1 red carded player. I wasn´t like sad or angry or smthn. I just thought, fuck that shit, I´ll bring in some motherfuckers from the bench.

Found another solution in the Forum Bugs / Ideas (en) to the injury problem. Something I (and others before me) came up with:

[IDEA] Reduce injury time (doctor)

ideas from the hat trick.
I think Sokker should not copy.

Sokker a better game, must have a better solution.

No, copied from rl.

I agree. :)
again will be trouble strength coach. richer clubs are preferred.
I have data for cards. For them I am sure that there are too many red cards and too few yellow cards but both of them happen far too early in the matches which is a big problem for red cards.

I am not sure about injuries. I don't have comparable data. So, I admit that it's just my impression that there's too many of them in sokker. I do believe though that my impression is accurate. Also, injuries are not fun in RL either. Just as goals from offsides aren't much fun. That is why we don't have them at all here. Well ok, except for those forward passes offsides :).

Furthermore, injuries are quite different events from cards in the sense that you do want that your oponent gets a card but you don't want him to get injured. So, this is another argument for less injuries. This is only a virtual game so why not have them less rather than more. If there would be less of them from day one, nobody would ever complain to have more of them. I am sure of that.

Yes, but that's always the case and is also normal (see skills of headcoach, general appricial of assistants and juniorcoach, but also stadiumsize and skills of players and trainees). New managers should not expect to have the same employees/coaches and skilled players as managers playing in the highest divisions with higher incomes and higher expenses.

I agree.
maybe the doctor a good solution.
