I think you are correct :)

On free kicks and corner kicks the players will pass more adequately

from what i saw a minute ago, it's still the same like before, they kick it out of the line not even to the penalty box. well, my players who did the corners have an average passing and solid playmaking but if we took the sentence above, imo they should did it better.

you can't be serious

if an average-solid player would make a good pass to the box, then what should a incredible-incredible do?

average passing is 5/18 - it's perfectly GOOD that such player has problems with kicking a proper corner....

but not if 50% of the time the ball doesn't even make it to the box.

yeah i got your point borkos but at least with such skill they could kick it straight to the box not to the stand behind the goal.. right?

I think you are right.

I was playing football last wednesday, and I hit a corner out of the line first time in my life. I was like "wow, it does happen in real life:O"

I had a divine passing + divine pm in high form who kicked a corner behind the goal.

Well, I suppose it was the only one in his life, but still...

Or greg made fixing matches possible to get more realistic :P

LOL... i bet what's in your mind right after that was 'sokker game' :D

We had a player in the Dutch NT once (in the 1970s), called "De Kromme" (freely translated "The Curver"), who could kick a corner straight into the goal :)

OK, but what exactly "condition" represents for the pitch?

As many here and in the Argentina forum have noted, "maintenance" indeed changes -5% a day. But condition also increases. For instance, in my case, I bought an intermediate grass, so my pit "condition" went up immediately to 80%. I also "bought" a full maintenance.

In the last 2 days, maintenance has been dropping 5% a day, and the pitch condition has been going up 2% a day. So, now I have a 90% available for maintenance, and a 84% pitch condition.

There were users who bought the more expensive grass, which sent their pitch condition immediately to 100%. They also bought the "full maintenance" package. So, today, as everybody else, they have lost 10% of their maintenance, but their pitch condition remains at 100%.

So, related to my original question: once my pitch condition reaches 100%, what does it mean? that my pitch "quality" (gamewise, namely, regarding bounces, ball speed, etc.) would be the same than that of those users who bought the more expensive grass, or that my pitch would be at its 100% but, in terms of quality (gamewise) still worse than the 100% condition of those who bought the more expensive pitch?

The problem with SK is that, what happens to you (not been even an very low league pro football player, correct me if I am wrong) once in your life, happens in SK 50% or more of the time (and I don't really care about the wrong argument: "your players is solid-solid"... I must be a "weak weak" and still can put 49 out of 50 corner kicks into the field).

Players skills, for this matter, should only count for the precision of the kick: I would completely support that a "solid-solid" player were not able to put the ball in the head of his own team mates, that's fine, but seen half of the corner kicks converted into goal kicks is insulting.

Anybody noticed the new thing on the news page? :o

I don't know what game you're playing guys. I seriously don't remember a single corner that was outside the box since I started managing Australia, and it makes it about 30 games.

Yes, I did... kind of UM-like presentation :P:P:P

But it's a good thing for new prospective users, it's not the same to get into a front page and still not knowing what the game looks like (as it was before) than finding those moving screenshots.

I still would, again in an "UM-like" way, allow prospective users to watch a match. So, for instance, if you click in the "3D Match Engine" image, instead of taking you immediately to the registration page (as it is doing know) I would take the user to a match, so he can see how actually the game looks like in action.

Given the fact that the new 3D visor looks really good, I think it would make a good move.

PS: Before someone jumps into my throat, I am not suggesting that SK "copies" UM, and even if it were in some specific issues, there's nothing wrong with that, UM also copied some things from SK (as SK and UM copied other things from other previous games... it's football, at the end of the day).
