Subject: NEWS New 3D Match Viewer!

2012-05-31 07:14:51
after days of trying to see anything in 3D, finally clearing ALL my coockies (so 99% were actually usefull) i noticed yesterday my 'blue grass' is actually brown and with a background of skyscrapers my stadium just looks tiny :(. i read something about camera angles? well i have not found that yet ...

anyway about the match engine: the gameplay for my b-team against an even weaker bot-team in the cup looked horrible maybe i'll try to give my attackers def order and my defenders att order next because they all appear to be passing in the wrong direction currently :s.

didn't you play in an away match for the national cup yesterday? so that mustn't be your stadium, that your opponent's ..

and for brown field, imo that because the weather of the city was hot and no clouds yesterday. and if the weather is raining hard, the pitch will look full of water..

as for camera angle, since you're a plus user then you can find it if you move your mouse cursor to the right part of your screen while watching it :)

you dont need to have a plus, to change the camera angles and such. Different cameras yes, but those are also in the right corner. hover your mouse over there and a drop-down box-kinda-thing appears.

my first experience with 3D - ball should be bigger. It was hard to keep tracking it and it didnt help that my laptop has a display that mirrors everything. just horrible to use in the summer - but thats my problem :D

The ball is too small indeed.

I use only the stadium camera because it does not move ;)

new 3D match viewer is a very nice idea, but i'm a little dissapointed how it looks: for me everything is too small: the ball and the players, even i look on really big screen (42"). in new 2D is almost the same situation, and i miss old 2D.

"in new 2D is almost the same situation, and i miss old 2D. "

?

For me is 2d the same as before...

hm you're right it was an away match. hm pitch condition 40% for that bot-team no wonder someone got injured :(
2012-05-31 09:53:54
If it is 40% right now it was yesterday 50% or higher. so it could not be the reason. (if the anouncement was correct that above 50% pitchconditition the pitch is not the reason for the injury.)

Maybe because you haven't played home yet since you edited your pitch and/or since the update was implemented? :]

2d is really a bit smaller now :) how cant you see it?
2012-05-31 14:57:42
I always watch full screen on a 23" ;)

But i realy do not see it. Maybe korsakov ;)
2012-05-31 15:56:41
Space outside the goal is bigger so i think thats why stadium is smaller.with that space shots behind the goal look more realistic.
2012-05-31 17:14:30
ah yes, i can see it now. Thanks :)
2012-05-31 17:56:18
Just to add to the confusion: today, I can see all matches again (and WITH oSokker enabled)... Don't have a clue what's going on, it changes from one moment to the other.
2012-05-31 18:07:24
20 minutes later, I'm back where I was yesterday night: my match stops being downloaded in the middle of the process.
Yes, it is exactly as you say - and it makes the 3D worthless to me.
It has been reported before, no information yet when this will be fixed.
