Subject: Winner World Cup XI

for everybody that is complaining about the victory of Bulgaria and Switzerland. Watch the matches and count the 1:1 situations. Then you will be quiet i think. 1:1 situations are most effectiv at the moment...matchengine is always changing and today most of the goals were made in 1:1 situations!

You can forget the statistics, you gotta watch the matches. Italy was dominating, yes and they could have scored some goals, but Bulgaria had 1:1 situations. The defense of Bulgaria was placed well in the situation against the italian strikers, they shot from distance or had headers, which doesn't work or at least there are few goals resulting.

Switzerland had better chances this is obvious AND the strikers were well placed. Polska had 4 defenders and Switzerland played with 3 attackers, this was too much for the polish defense. It is a great victory, it is not a lot about luck in that game in my opinion.

But there is a high random factor, this is clear.

you must be some son of a good or something like that when you know who will be a chapm.

I was watching the Italy match, and to be honest i'm not complaining about the score nor the situations. I've trained strikers since my first week in sokker, and their total ineffectiveness makes me sad. So i have to be smart to place my strikers in the defense gap, but wait, there is no gap! Because regardless of tactics, defenders would be positioned on the top of my striker. And not only one, but sometimes two or three.

And another thing, i know headers were weakened, and it really makes sense. But when i know that my header would be a simple pass for the keeper from 20 meter, why for God's sake should i try to head towards the goal?

So strikers were nerfed, wingers too, and its allright. But they didnt get any options to balance them, it's like "take my header but give me more accuracy".

I just have the feeling that the game has becoming more MID oriented, i mean, you dont have to be a genius to make a good DEF tactic, they're marking the strikers anyways. And its useless to have world class strikers without having strong MID support. So without a good midfield you have zero chance to win the game, and this reminds me of another game.

So if i count the situations 1vs1, you're absolutely right. But if strikers would've choose to dribble instead of sending a loose header from outside the are, maybe we would've seen much more 1vs1 chances from there.

I have another tactic in second half :-) brokus.

i had also.. but you scored in other mins... heh if you draw in 65 i'll play 5 defenders.. would be easier ;p

also i should change tactic after first half.. my fault, heh;p and tbh little luck for me and i should win it easily ;p

if we would lose, it would be an exciting game too! Check second half, when we change tactic, its better.

Germany goes on.

So many back passes in this game. It was awful.

One of the stranges matches I've ever seen:

Varela with magical defender skill f8cking tackles almost every time the superdivine(tech- Kehl and Reidriger)!!!!! Moreover not from the frinot but from teh back eh tackles them!!! My players played like they don't have any tech at all. Reidriger could control even a simple ball played to him in teh Gk area...
