Why? Now we will have to make new tactics.
Finally those winger tactics are not useful as they were.

Maybe because you don't have to make a perfect defensive tactic because the def will cover the striker anyway...?
And doesn't matter how good placement your striker will have, he will still be covered for most of the time...

We will see about that in months to come. Who knows what will people think of.
I partially agree with you :)
it was one of the game's best fun parts, to try and "read" your oponent def, the holes etc and try to place your strikers in those free spaces :) it was like a strategical game :)
now it's gone...

New engine is bad , New engine prefer players skills and limits role taktics. :C
no way - DEf want cover striker, that is far away, and will not cover two at the same time:)

Imo it just shifts the game towards hattrick: have the better midfield so they can keep passing till there is a gap ... With old ME you could at least know that if you placed a winger he'd at least try to overcome a defender if he was somewhat unmarked. Now he'll be covered anyway. And running passes tactics are dead ... Only tactics I'll see will be 541 or 451 or 442 with mids as spread as possible ...
naaah, if you can easier dribble past a def, than wingers are even more dangerous than before.. come on,
the odds of dribbling past are smaller than they were when they had more freedom :)
me too, and my brilliand tech ATT dribbled past divine defender few times - thats sth new.
and see PL-BRA game, how their ATT went past defenders, just like ronaldinho at his primetime

pff, im proficient in english, according to some werid "comission of some sht", that gave me C1 certificate:P
More short passing is a good thing in principle, but it can make it difficult to create chances especially against a high defensive line, as the mids are very reluctant to pass to the striker from their own half. I fear that it may have the opposite of the desired effect - managers will use only one or two midfielders (and six or even seven defenders in a high line) because otherwise the mids will only make useless sideways passes.
i think it will make a better passing, but we need to set strikers different - like eg atts closer to own mids and closer to own half than defs of opponent. than they will try to dribble past defence
