Subject: New match engine discussion

The games aren't so good with the new changes... for teams that aren't as profecient..
I have to many pasess (& plays) backwards.. to many by my att'ers when they are within shooting range! and myself and other teams in my division are having problems scoring!! 5% of the shots (by the winning teams) are goals.. seems a bit low to me.. whats the point of out shooting your opponent 10 to one if it takes a good 20 shots to put one in.. whats the point of being a manger... setting up a team with one match engine and then having changes that negate the talent you have spent all of your money on? ... im a fan of consistency... for the first time in a year im starting to think i could be wasting my time on here..

I used to play sokker 2 years ago, now I'm back and trying to learn about these changes.

if you get about 5 open chances in real life you'd expect at least one goal no matter which player gets it ... according to the new match engine in sokker it just means the one with high skills scores them all and the mediocre ones don't score any. sadly apparently this means that with my team even when i dominate the game my strikers don't 'work' anymore and my defenders start to give away presents to the opponent to make sure i'll be beaten :(
on the other hand i probably won't see the 5-5 and 6-6 draws from in last season anymore:p

not true - see how well a winger scored in Belgium l;ast game and how many actions were wasted by striker...

well unfortunately MY team is not of the same level :p

I once again noticed that wingers arent that useful as they used to be. Probably sent in 15 crosses yesterday and only 10 arrived close to my striker (well obviously even with his skills he isnt perfect) and only 4 of those were won by my striker against similar sized players ... but luckily 2 went in (well, 1 was a shot instead of header).

I can really understand teams without top players to be anxious at this ME if even for topteams its hard to get some chances.

It seems, that scoring a goal is now much-much harder.

not true ... is easier than before to score from 1vs1 situation, but, unfortunately, most passes go back to defensive or static, rather than having an offensive path.

come on, I play at 5th league level, av. marks ~55 and there are many situations, even though I use 3 strikers who are very young

you're not weak enough, then...

~50 (at best) mark for me, young strikers, mids like this one:

And I bet the game is pretty boring, but I don't watch it :))

your tactic doesn't fit the new engine, no wonder you play badly...you have no midfield...

too lazy to change it :))
maybe a 433 would work better, maybe i'll sacrifice 15 mins from my life to make it.

same here, I couldn't find many differences concerning my tactic. I only found that my young strikers won a couple of more dribbles probably.

Had to realize though that a tight field is not enough to cover a winger with a 4-def-line.

no more need to discuss, the new ME is so bad that it's useless to think about tactics.
well, to be honest a brilliant tactic will not be needed anymore, there will be so few users that it will be very easy to climb to the top.

i check just a thing...
a player who has very good pace, when he reaches his top speed, he's running atttttttttttttttttttttttttttt...
