I don't have to give you numbers, those who complain about the number of surprise results and too much random have to prove this, they are the ones who feel something is wrong.

There is absolutely nothing new about this ME, it is 2.5 years old :/ It is only a complain topic for those who lost a match unexpectedly.


If something is really wrong, a real bug, it can be posted in the Forum Bugs / Ideas (en).

I report most bugs to DEVs that are posted on the bugs forum, more we can't do. But this topic is useless to post these bugs because that's not the place for bugs.

I wish would really try to develop a new engine. All other games are making the engine better and better every year but I guess sokker doesn't have any reason to do it. Have you seen Football manager 2015 engine? so realistic nowadays. I'm not comparing very rich game developer engine to sokker but when I started playing and saw potential of this game I thought it will be great after few years. Sadly development is very slow or probably there won't be any now. I think this engine just needs a few good tweaks and it could be really good. Lot of people would describe it playable so it means it's not far from being good.

Sokker is a hobby, not their job so development is slow. I agree too slow sometimes, but mainly because of the time it takes before bugs are fixed, or not fixed at all.

And 2.5 years ago the whole ME has been changed and not that long ago the lay out, so they do a lot of work sometimes, but it's not always visible and the DEVs also don't communicate so we don't know the things they do. I already gave them the advise to communicate so the Sokker users know all the work the DEVs are doing for Sokker. Now we know almost nothing, all of the sudden new things are implemented or parts of the program changed without us knowing about it. I think many managers would respect the DEVs work more when we known what they are doing for Sokker.

How would you solve the "problem"? You basically propose that the team with more chances should always win. Because if not, results like yours are just a matter of probability.
These matches have always been and will always be there.

It's a matter of perspective. Let's say the team that plays better ALWAYS win, it would be good for me, but not very realistic since sometimes a team play better and not win. Reality is in fact a lot more complicated than that, there is a lot more involved that people don't know. But let's say it's simple as it is. So, there is a distance:

Eace person would like ME to be in one place. I, of course, would like it to be near the "A ME in wich the team playes better always win", others would like it near to "Bizarre matches in wich a team shot 15x0 and loses for 0x1". But certainly it should be in the middle.

It is not even close to middle as these results are extreme for this ME, they don't happen too often. The strongest and best teams almost always win, with a surprise result now and then. Yours is such a surprise result.

So what you want already exist.

I don't know if you are stubborn or really don't get something so simple. I will try just one more time:

If I were playing in a ME just a little near I would like, a match so bizarre such "15x0 shots and 0x1 result" would never happen, not even close.

You obviously don't get it, and it doesn't matter how many managers keep telling you nothing is wrong, you won't accept it.

So I'm not the stubborn one not willing to listen to others, not willing to understand how the ME works and not willing to understand nothing is wrong with the ME when it comes to match results and surprising results.


But those angry feelings of yours about losing a match and the completely wrong claim it happened because of a wrong ME is worse for Sokker as the few surprising results that happen each week (like it should happen in football btw). So please don't spread that nonsense if you really care about Sokker. Just accept your loss and focus on next match.

Don't be a dramaqueen. Just ask people how ME's work and you will know nothing is wrong.

Random results are acceptable in a very little quantity, when they begin to represent a good part of matches, there is something wrong. The random itself, as a mechanism to produce the match, is not replaceable. So the question is HOW MUCH?

There is two effects that you can separate. One is % of matches, and other is how much in a match random can influence.

The fact that reality has more random than sokker has.. well it has really nothing to do with this question.
The realism we need in sokker is the part we need to enjoy the game (unless you want doping, refree's errors, scandals in this game, cheating.. why not? that's real..)

There is another thing to be said here. There are a lot of results in real life that people think is random when in fact is not. But they are hard to simulate or not good for a game. In reality there is some ways to beat stronger teams in tactic choices, players changing, marking position and many other ways. Real soccer has many variables influencing that many times people think it was luck, but the team's manager and players know it was not. So this statement, real soccer has more random than sokker is partialy true.

Impossible to say exactly, but in almost all, if not all leagues the best teams will finish on top and the best of best become champion. This has nothing to do with random results at all. If it was random the weakest teams could become champion and that simply won't happen!

Is something random when you know that the higher the skills the more chance of successful actions during the whole match (all passes, all shots on goal, all keeper saves, etc)? And is something still random if you know that having a better team with better players means that in almost all matches you will beat the weaker opponents? And is something still random, knowing that the ME is build in a way to make sure the best and strongest teams will almost always win matches (because of big differences in low and high skilled players, the high number of goals per match and increased match time when the ME was tweaked to make sure stronger and better teams have more match time to beat weaker teams?)

That is not random at all. But hee, I'm just a crazy guy who is stubborn and knows nothing about it .......
