About the second part, i really hope it's as you stated, that the ME calculate every single thing and doesn't just give you a prefixed result based solely on the average ratings of the two teams

Some time ago there was a bug, you could play 2 arcade matches at the same with exactly the same team. The results of these matches where not the same, some even very different.

I think it's very very hard if not practically impossible to build a match engine that give you a prefixed result based solely on the average ratings of the two teams, and at the same time generates a watchable match.

A good way to 'get a feel' about the 'randomness' in real life football is that weak teams may occasionally win cups but they win leagues much more rarely. This shows that weaker teams can 'over-perform' in one match/a few matches but cannot sustainably do so. (I know strong teams don't always field their best players, but they usually do so from 1/8 or so, so this doesn't affect the argument)

Thanks for your explanations; so it's indeed possible that those extreme results are just the outcome of a great stroke of "luck/bad luck", since the engine calculates every single action, and would be hard to make your striker miss 10 clear chances while your opponent's only need 1, or, worse, even 0 to score... It would be easier to explain that if the engine gave a "boost" to the opposing goalkeeper, and penalize your attacker instead, at the start of the match;

still, i'd like to see some improvements; for example, what happened to BMI (Body Mass Index)? Did they just introduced it and then forgot to actually implement it? Or it is already in function?

BMI is a very stupid unrealistic idea. It's not coach problem that player is too fat or too thin. He must be put on a diet and this has nothing to do with main coach. There are other coaches or special staff for such things in a club.

Also people said height was implemented long time ago and it has almost or completely no effect when heading the ball. Maybe acceleration is noticeable but engine is such a crap we wouldn't even see it. I don't understand why sometimes the same player accelerates much slower than he should. Maybe cause of low PM sometimes he decides to run, sometimes he decides later but taking all this crap engine irregularities we will never know what influences what.

It seems like none of you ever played Football Manager series. Even the first engine ever made is thousand times better(more realistic) than sokker engine.

Actually I did not got it. You mean that these games are completely different and combining them would be amazingly good? Football manager doesn't lack anything anymore, it has online mode but I don't know how it works. Sokker could use a lot from FM though.

I like the present one about his own qualities. To complain about the qualities from SM and compare them to FM is for me irrelevant. I accept it as it is and I enjoy it. That´s all.

Hackers say all games are completely FREE and I'm sorry but I never bought any game for more than couple of bucks. Sokker plus was wayyyyy more than I ever paid for a game and I bought a year plus here 2 or 3 times, so.... where the hell my money went. Those games develop every year no matter how much sales they make. They get better to make more profit next year but sokker for some reason doesn't care about that and stopped years ago. This game could have reached 200-300k user count :) who knows what potential it had....
