unfair scoring%, and your match is a pretty good example of it.

no it wasnt, i had a 16 yo tragic keeper on goal... :)

I dont think scoring is too random..... try to take last 50 matches you played, and make statistics if the most chances team won, draw or lost... :) I think you´ll be surprised...... then try compare with RL football, and you will stop complaining

but if i can give you advice... your keeper is very poor...... also, invest money in better trainees, they can become much better then the older players you have now...... if you care so much about winning matches, you should try and improve your squad

and you are still merely 0.0000001% farther away from chrerry-picking, as thousands and thousand of matches are simulated every match day.
The ME has many limitations, I've seen worse and I've seen better (never in an on-line manager, though). We all would like it to be better, that's for sure. But people is just ridiculous.

but offside tactics still work and my strikers are standing in offside whole match.

Err... it's actually low defense that has become quite difficult to pass. High defenses, while still useful in some circumstances, are probably more vulnerable than ever. Nor that they should, or they should not, in nay case there is plenty of room to choose what you like best. But playing against high defenses isn't exactly a tactical challenge :S

I might be repeating myself but the funny thing is, that just after the implementation of this so random ME we had the same manager winning the WC twice with two different teams. :) And how comes I've never seen an only average manager/team winning the WC or CC since then?

I don't understand what you want to try, but I accepted the invitation anyway :P

Just this comment :P

at least try to suggest where i got it wrong tactically;

I have no Plus so I can't watch your matches. But if you loose too often while you should have won it is most probably because of poor tactics (and/or wrong skilled players).

In most cases the stronger team with better players will almost always win, as long as tactics and skills of players are okay. This is simply a fact, look at a few hundred match results and you will find just a few unexpected results, just a few % of all those matches. Nothing strange about that.

i'm complaining about random and unfair scoring%

And about that scoring %, strikers will not score 100% shots on goal. But the better striker skills and form is and the worse skills and form of the opponent keeper is, the more % strikers will score goals. This is not random, you have a lot of influence on the outcome of your match results. It is you who made the tactic, it is you who trained and/or bought the striker(s) and it is you who selected the striker(s) for that match. What you don't have is control over your opponent and his/her choices, and the opponent's choices can or will have a significant effect on the outcome of your matches ;)

EDIT: btw, it's up to you to find out what you can do better when it comes to tactics and/or skills. Maybe you should join some Association where they discuss tactics and skills or start one yourself (you have Plus), open a discussion topic on your national forum to discuss best tactics, analyze your opponent's matches and/or your own matches better, etc. There are a number of things you can do to become a better manager :)

I'd start with buying a decent goalkeeper and in-forma strikers with decent striker skill

Ah, hehe, well, I don't know if I can prepare something specific, because I sold the players I used in the ones I already have. In any case, it should be fun no matter what :P

But you can also check any "Sabella" tactic I made for NT while I was in charge, and how they fared against high defenses vs. how they did against low defenses. Also our NT coach is using a modified version of my goodbye tactic, and you can do the same comparison (for example, Eesti's high defense vs New Zeland low defense).
2015-05-05 20:21:56
you mean like this
2015-05-05 22:10:50
No, I never coached Slovenija :P
2015-05-07 16:56:40
Ok, thank you for your advice, though my keeper is indeed pretty average but i think my opponent's are not that much better either, plus i had few recorded cases of striker/keeper anomalies (anyone still remember that youth match i posted some time ago, where my striker with 9 in attack failed several one on ones against a keeper who was at best 3 in keeping), so it is not always tactics/poor keeper fault/merit and an unfair result may very likely happen more often than not.

I think i can kiss goodbye to direct promotion thanks to this game:

FC Maracaibo - SCSA Juventude F.C. 2:2

This game is getting more and more enjoyable with time...
