Subject: »Do you like the new ME?

2012-06-24 18:18:16
seriously, WTH is with this new ME?? from time to time i saw a statistically much better team can't win against a weaker one! are from now on, this game is implementing new coding that will give a surprise result??

and on today's match, statistically, my team was better than my opponent and his team even playing only with 9 men! i use the same tactic as last season and so does him. and then... you all know what's happened!

Every ME changes was liked by couple of us, and don't liked by others.
Nobody don't comment about some really good ME implementations waited a long time ago and created now, but criticise the whole ME totally. And wanna get back the previous? Why?On previous you just use-it 5 defenders with a good winger and a single good striker and you wins: now this not works atall. You have to use more multi skilled players now or more than one good striker to win.I understand:is hard for much users, but this is the game's future.
So, why you don't talk about this changes to?:
- On free kicks and corner kicks the players will pass more adequately
-- Fixed bug of players launching the ball forward to themselves, but an offside striker taking the ball instead. A scoring and assist bug related with launching has also been fixed.
-Modification in algorithm of supporters attendance depending on stand type and ticket price, supporters will more often choose cheaper stands of same or better type
- Added possibility of injury while dribbling, but, in exchange, lowered probability of other injuries
- Fixed bug that changed to second tactic when it wasn't set
- Fixed bug of setting players on the same position on conditional orders
- Covering players introduced (DEF will be able to modify its position a little when see there is an attacker close to him uncovered), how defenders cover will be later explained in news and rules

good point i always hated winger tactics
2012-06-24 18:23:35
All right it is a game future but we needed to know that a season before as in normal games people are announcing the changes. Cause it's a strategy and you building team not for a season or two. yes there is a lot of work of devs positive things as well but the final result is disaster.Implementing something on a fly on our backs is disrespectful and totally wrong !!!

On previous you just use-it 5 defenders with a good winger and a single good striker and you wins: now this not works atall.

this is the point because of a lot of users who train DEFs are unhappy :-) with this changes sokker is maybe closer to real football (I didn't write this: is same as real football!!) ;-) did you see any team plays with 5 DEFs in real football? :-)

someone please tell me if my tactic is good

The discussion in becoming surreal. There ... probably because something bad there is.

So now that the conditions are completely changed, results of the past still counts while it's new for everyone and no one can tell what good tactics are or not? Ofcourse ....

And a second thing, the ME never really changed as you wrongly claim, it has only been tweaked a lot of times and small new thing be implemented. This is the first time in my Sokker career it has really been changed.

And you know why these managers became topmanagers? By trail and error, which is a slow proces and because they learned how to deal with the former ME. Now this skill of them is required again, but all of the sudden it's to much for some of them. The same managers who could do this in the past are now acting like spoiled kids who want to have it all without doing any efford for it. Really strange attitude, as they did it completely different in the past, before they became the topmanagers they are nowadays (or where, as we all begin a few steps lower again and have to learn the new ME)!

maybe yes, with new ME anybody knows if it is good or not... ;-)

Implementing something on a fly on our backs is disrespectful and totally wrong !!!

Agree with this:is not good to be implemented on couple of important official matches.

i don't care a long as smaller teams like me get a chance
2012-06-24 18:30:29
Next time this season when you play against him the second time you will maybe know it as you have many matches to go to get to learn this new ME.

No I won't, because as I already wrote I am now finally able to take the decision to sell my team and go all-out training. Something I wanted to do for a long time, but I was too attached to the legendary players that I have developed myself, and to watch these perform in the old ME in 2D action. I was also fond of outguessing/outwit my opponents tactic wise but that joy is gone too, partly due to this "I'm a lazy manager, but luckily my defenders auto-cover now" thingy ;)
Besides, I'm not sure I'm interested in learning an ME that encourages lazyness or inadequacy on the tactic side. If I want to play a simpleton game and watch lady luck perform, I can always play Hattrick.

your chance is a random you get it once then you leave with nothing and you rest small
think big !!

You still haven't done a thing to prove your assumption that the only people complain is because they're unwilling to adapt to the new engine.
Most complaints here are that the engine doesn't make sense and favors random results whereas you used to be able to carefully plan your tactics. This claim can be backed up by several matches where teams were vastly superior to their opponents, created lots of chances yet failed to score. This has nothing to do with them not adjusting. What more do you expect them to do when they completely dominate their opponents?

The discussion in becoming surreal. There are top managers, people that won world cups, champions cups, national leagues, national cups that are trying to make people notice there is something bad with the new ME, and people that plays many years and are still in the bottom or second bottom division of their countires explaining them that they use bad tactics, that they are not able to adapt to the new ME :0
well, just notice the ME already changed many time, and they have always been on top with all the previous engines, so probably thay know how to make a tactic and adapt to a new engine. If they are noticing something bad now, it is probably because something bad there is.

Of course lesser quality teams and/or managers that either don't have the time or are bad at doing tactics will think this is a great change as they suddenly get more "surprise" results than before.
