The discussion in becoming surreal. There are top managers, people that won world cups, champions cups, national leagues, national cups that are trying to make people notice there is something bad with the new ME, and people that plays many years and are still in the bottom or second bottom division of their countires explaining them that they use bad tactics, that they are not able to adapt to the new ME :0
well, just notice the ME already changed many time, and they have always been on top with all the previous engines, so probably thay know how to make a tactic and adapt to a new engine. If they are noticing something bad now, it is probably because something bad there is.

Of course lesser quality teams and/or managers that either don't have the time or are bad at doing tactics will think this is a great change as they suddenly get more "surprise" results than before.

an ME that encourages lazyness or inadequacy on the tactic side.

I find it incredible you already know this after 2 weeks of a new ME ...... incredible as in 'I don't believe you really do know this' ;) I don't really know why you writing this all down without knowing it, but you must have your reasons. It would nice though, if the right reason is mentioned and not some personal dislike of the new unknown ME presented as a fact.

Most complaints here are that the engine doesn't make sense and favors random results whereas you used to be able to carefully plan your tactics.

If you want to talk about most .... most who have no complains at all don't come to this topic ;)

And about tactics and new ME, I already wrote I can't tell you a thing about it yet as any other manager. Ask me again when all tweaking and changing is finished and I have learned the new ME and watched enough matches and know more what influence (multi)skills, form etc has on the new ME. I would say, read the topics in which managers are trying to find out these things, topics in which managers are trying to go forwards in stead of looking backwards, can't let go and complain about all that is supposedly wrong.

OK-OK, i dont wanna explain nothing.Just i wanna say, that new ME comes with more good changes, not just wrong ones.
Is not the better ME ever, but is acceptable one.

I have only very rarely used 5 defenders - mostly out of need because of injuries, or maybe to surprise an opponent. In last seasons CC I used 4 defenders up until the very final - even though I some times was the underdog. And I have won loads of national league and cup trophys too with a 4 def line, an attacking wing, a pure wing and a normal striker - in many variations. The only reason I used a 5-def line and 1 striker in the final of last seasons CC, was simply out of need as I had 3 or 4 players inured and booked.

So please don't tell me that "it was only possible to win with a 5-def line and a wing-singlestriker combo on top-level with the old ME". This is not true.

My friend, even on World CUP majority uses 5-3-2 or 5-4-1.

now senior users will be forced to use normal looking tactics rather 1 stricker and 1 winger a 3 mids

I respectfully ask you to read what I wrote and not what you think I wrote....

I make a point about most complaints on here being about the extreme randomness factor and you answer this by pointing out that those who don't complain don't come to this topic..so? what's your point?

But anyway, yes we get it, you think everything will be fine and the only reason people complain is that they don't know how to handle the engine yet and that everything will sort itself out once people get used to the changes. What makes you so sure though? Why do you trust the developers that much when it's obvious that these changes have been so unevenly tested that they keep tweaking them in the middle of the season....doesn't that concern you a bit that they find the engine so faulty that they can't wait till the end of the season to do that? Yet you keep insisting that things are only "supposedly" wrong, that those who speak out against things are only "looking backwards".
I believe users have the right to be pissed when a huge amount of changes are introduced in such an unprofessional manner that you end up having a hard time knowing which ones are actually already active or not. Maybe they'll end up getting it right and the game will have become even more interesting but for now it's just a big mess.
