My mid that has "only" formidable def, was able to stop him more often than my superdivine def. And they both are at the same level of form.

I have a theory for that, at least from what i've experienced. In my opinion form influences greatly the speed and the main skill. Since defender's main skill is defense, and strikers main skill is attack, perhaps that's the reason. Just a theory, dont throw boulders...

The attacker that has barely 300k value, is in poor form. So there is no explanation. 3 players in poor form. The attacker with a value of barely 300k was able to dribble most of the time from the front my superdivine defender and my mid with formi def was able to stop him in some cases. There is no logic there.

I have a theory for that, at least from i've experienced. In my opinion, that's jsut about luck... Nothing about skills... A bad player can beat a strong one... Only luck is here... Nothing to add...

I agree.Something about forms must play an integral part of successful/unsuccessful fights,headers,etc.In my last championship match my magical tech striker/winger was an almost completely failure when he faced a 46% defender in 18' form.Lost almost all 1-1s and not just against that def,but the whole defensive line.
Same appliable to my other strikers,all at 12+ defence level and still couldnt tackle ONCE against a 30% defender in brilliant form.Enemy midfielders(35-41% players!!!)passing like Barcelona, i couldnt even intercept one pass...ridicoulus.
I spent quite a lot of money to make my team destroy these lower level teams,and to rebuild my supporter's morale and numbers but its still a challenge.Or lets say its really not wise and not worth buying superstars,when mediocre players almost can play the same level.
Why paying your team's stars 15-20k € per week?Nah,my plan or team setup needs some adjustments i guess.

Todays match was again a nice example... Double superdivine defs with nice sideskills look stupid against strikers of value 600 and 800 k Euro in low form. My superdivine GK is beaten by a player of a value of 600.000 Euro at 30 metres while my tripple divine/superdivine with excellent sideskills manages to miss several clear occasions almost in the goal of the other team... Clearly better players in every line, clearly better tactic seen the quality and number of the chances, tactic of the other team covered and players placed totally free in dead situations... I like a surprise from time to time but the quality difference is very clear on the pitch, but it's almost never reflected on the field... Why do I need this expensive players?

Last post about changes on the Belgium forum was on 10/07, that's almost a month ago!

solution so far: sell the expensive "stars", buy cheap amateurs and knock your whole league down, eh?

Do that, then you will notice there is still a difference between stars and normal players. And also when the ME is tweaked more and all is even better again, you are stuck with all normal players and all others in your league will beat you for sure ;/

It's a season of changes. If you want to replace your whole team because of 1 season of changes, well, go ahead but it would be quite dumb to do so, specially knowing this is a season of changes.
