Subject: »Do you like the new ME?
So the guy needed an explanation why his superdivine defender underperforms, and we should send him to try the lottery. Guess im offtopic than, sorry for the interference :)
lol :D
lol :D
Only thing is, for as far as I remember this isn't allowed to be used. Not sure if this is still the case, but that's the last thing I have read about that.
i like illegal things they give me a chill in my spine
I've never scored such a ridiculous goal ;-)
3rd minute of Australia - Cymru

yeah, I guess that's the only way it is possible to happen :P
I like the new match engine, the games are more realistic now. Most of the users crying around here, are just too foolish too think about their tactics and can't accept that sometimes the worse team wins. Do you think in real life in a first national cup round a "divine" defender wins all his tacklings against an amateur? And do you miss in the new engine that strikers score with headers from 18 meters? The results are closer now and there will be more sensations, but in the end the teams with the best players and tactic will be on the first positions.
Look at the mirror and call what you see a fool. I didnt wrote about anyone anything, so take back what you wrote. I have played so many season sokker, won the highest league, played cup final and never wrote anything about the engine. I see my players under perform (it has nothing to do about tactics, so your insults are out of bounds) and wrote here that it cant be happening. I wouldnt write anything, if in the entire match, the weak player would have go past my superdivine player 1 or 2 times in 10 head on head tries. And i repeat. Im writing about what i see and not about results. I dont care about results. I care about what i see. So your entire post is invalid.
Why are you saying this? Is a lack of respect. Everyone can give his opinion. No matter how long you have been playing: learn again how to play sokker.
@ Maeniking: I'm glad to see your post. Don't care about stupid comments saying the opposite.

What a sad World Cup finale, I got bored with the two best teams in the world (by this ME). Strikers are not a party, it does not looks at a football game and I doubt that it comes close to IRL. While there are good things, but too much head, few corners, bad choices done, at this level is not realistic (since you want at any price whatsoever that).
Wanting to be closer to reality is a huge mistake, we want to have fun with Sokker, it's a game, and he is losing his mind ... and its best representatives. (already 2 bots in first french league?)
may be it is too later , but I like sokker and i do not want that.

Yes, the matches are more realistic now but just because of the more tight scores, just because is much harder to score now.....but not because sokker get (much) closer to the real football....for instance, just count up the missed penalty shots in the WC final and tell me how realistic is.
I didn't like the exclusive wing tactics and the striker scoring with headers from 18m, I don't support the irrealistic features in games, so that I don't uphold the past engine....but in the same time I cannot praise the present one just because I don't want to see how wrong can still be in certain aspects, moreover the new engine quite get farer to the real football by few new implementations. I can bring arguments if needed.

This is quite confusing.....with the past engine it wasn't so, or in other online games is not so ??
I appreciated and I criticized the old engine, and in the same time I appreciate and I criticize the new one, every with its good and wrong features.

Yes, a "divine" defender wins all his tacklings against an amateur, maybe he won't take all the balls from him, maybe the amateur can sometimes to gain a space off and to keep and pass the ball further, to head the ball sometimes or quite to shoot to the target....but to win a one on one challenge, to dribble the defenders and so on, this is very rare situation.
I just interviened because you referred to the real football but i can see you don't know real football.

It's more accurate to say some aspects of the games are more realistic now, but others have gotten worse. I agree that it was necessary to lower the number of headed goals. I even agree that it's more realistic to make tackles more difficult, but that increases randomness. To balance the game it's necessary to reduce other random factors, but the opposite has happened. Combination play largely consists of sideways and back passes. There are few chances created from combinations because players are not "smart" enough, and there are still too many long balls. Many teams are starting to play with 3 central strikers just because it increases the probability one of them will get the ball more or less by chance (while one-striker tactics are basically dead). Don't know if that's a lot more realistic than the old winger tactics.
Also, I never liked the "launch and run" feature much, but now it has become totally absurd how often players will launch the ball right into their opponent's feet. And tacklings from behind almost seem easier than from the front with the new ME. That's realistic?

I put my DEFs in midfield today and placed three -18y olds with mostly only pace (other skills average to give an example) as defenders . 2 of the -18 were placed against the line, the other one was my third def with for example average DEF. 1 of my 2 other DEFs has hopeless form.
And guess what : I won against number 2 on full strength. :-) Very funny
Offcourse this is only an isolated case and must not be taken as an example for the general behaviour of the ME....
If anyone wants any further experiments, just let me know... I don't care anymore...
