Was an example how to prevent back passes from atts to defs, not some complete tactic advice :) In these examples the most forward att(s) won't pass back all the way to the defs and that's what I wanted to show.

How to implement this in tactics is up to each manager themself, ofcourse :)

I have good solution for new ME problems. Just don`t watch any games. I haven`t watched a single match during the last 5 months.

I was just giving my opinion on Groene Smurf's game, and then adding some thoughts of mine on the new ME in general and you reply to me like I'm some dumbass newb who hasn't done anything but whine about how this new ME sucks.. While this is about my first time I voice my opinion about the new ME on international..
Oh and I use CAPITALS to add some power to a word when I want to make a point. Normally I just pronounce the word a bit louder but since I'm typing here.. guess that won't help too much now does it? By the way.. If that annoys you already then you can't handle a lot man.. which makes me think you must be some frustrated dude.. And something else.. you doubt that I know the importance of multiskilled players just because I said defenders need pace and defending as main skills? What the hell.. Ofcourse those are the most important skills for a defender..

This is what a multiskilled def looks like in my opinion.. and his main skills are still pace and def..

So according to you (since I'm thinking oldschool) this is not true and there is a different kind of defender which is better with new ME.. Something like this maybe?

Let's just pretend the second one behaves much better then the first one as a defender.. how is that logical? The main task of a defender is still to tackle the ball from the attacker right? What skill do you need for that action? Yes, defense.. so how is that not the primary skill needed?..

Anyway, sometimes I wonder what crack you're on.. It must be some extremely strong stuff to ALWAYS (hah) see sokker in a positive way. Every time someone 'whines' about something.. (even if they just give their opinion like I did.. to you it's whining) you reply to them like they are fucking retards.. Like it's all their own fault their players are doing weird shit cuz obviously they don't understand shit about tactics and their players acting like that is because you're not putting them in the right place! Yeah sure thing bro.. LOL.

Well.. that being said I feel like we're even for now.. I've always been super polite on international forum but your reply just didn't feel right.. You can act pro all you want but you still have a lot of stripes to earn before you can get away with the type of replies you make on a regular basis.

Well, you must admit that his second last paragraph isn't that far off. I mean it feels kinda insulting to always be anwered to like a newbi when I 'whine' about what I see as serious problems with this engine. And it doesn't take that much effort to see that both Mourinho, grmbl and I are far from newbies, and at some point have tried to have the best of the best kind of players that Sokker can produce.

The first part is one of the reasons why the ME has changed as the old ME was all ping-pong soccer (and unfortunatly still to much in this new ME, defs kicking the ball to forwards way to often). And apparently you don't like ping-pong soccer either, but you do ask for the old ME. Seems like a contradiction to me.

Then I think we percieve "ping-ponginess" differently. What I mean by excessive pointless Ping-ponging is when midfielders (and strikers) pass the ball back and forth and sideways with no plan other than "hey - that guy is more free than the other guy standing over there so I must pass to him", or "hey, I could pass to that free striker in front, but that defender over there has more free space and greg has proclaimed that for the sake of looking (a bit) more realistic we no longer can do logical and direct passing - so I better play the def".
I really vote for passing beteen midfielders, but not the way its implemented right now. The devs need to equip the players with a brain or use a combination of already existing skills and experience/discipline, to influence who the player possesing the ball make the pass to from the available options at the given moment. Perhaps players should be able to think more than one step (pass) ahead and also take the situation of the possible reciepients into consideration.


Well, it's a game and not rl so not all is as realistic as rl, but to make some comparison with rl, it does happen a lot of times the winning goals are scored in last 15 minutes. So beside the final score of 7-4, which is not that realistic to rl soccer, all other is ;) But these scores can happen because we can't make changes during the match.

So this means that you can quickly come up with an example of a real life match where no less than 3 goals was scored in the last 7 minutes? Edit: without any red card or injuries that is.
Anyway, again, wasn't realism the key reason for making these changes? What I see is going from one virtual reality to another. Different but at the same level of realism.

In a way we can. Just use conditional orders for a tactic swap if in front or behind. Of course this area could use a good deal of improvement too.

I wasn't talking about 3 goals, but the winning goals in last 15 minutes (even more as 1 goal also). There are many examples of this, just look on Youtube and Wikipedia :)

I don't care about feelings, as those can be wrong. He could have asked what I meant or responded in another way, but he didn't. What he wrote is insulting and completely inappropriate. And read the other post of him, in that post it already started to become rude (first paragraph).

Charles please give up with your answers, you have the right for your opinion, everybody has it, but all these endless verbal disputes are too much. I use to read the forum for to be informed when having time but I start feeling a disgust always seeing you in dispute.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and that you want to help sokker, I really appreciate it, and you often have good and valid points.....but always to contradict and correct the people, to argue and give lessons to the experienced users....you've come to give tactical advices to the new world champion Pakosteve (who won it exactly because he was the one "to read" the best the new engine) and other users with performances in sokker......please stop it till won't be too embarrassing.
Gain a sense of the limits and you'll keep doing a great job for sokker.

The reason i wrote what i wrote, was because he was offensive. Im the one with lack of respect? And i was writting about player skills and not about results and thus tactics dont have anything to do about what i wrote. And opinion is not when you are offensive over others.
