Look, 'weird' results have been here ALWAYS...check older games...

what is interesting though is that bad scoring ration always happens to same people...so maybe it's not all the fault of the ME?

having said that, since I train Italy, I've checked many tactic. With most of them I get chances etc. but I have problems with finishing - but every time I change to one 433 tactic, suddenly there are lots of goals...

Greg, thank You for making once really nice game crappiest game ever. I'm guessing that You were using Yourselve as a template for making more realistic behaviour in the game 'cause players are acting like their IQ is somewhere around 20, even with divine PM. Keep on the good work, I'm guessing that sokker would still attract some people who find fliping a coin as an ultimate fun.

There are some stupid decisions, but in general this engine is a move in a proper direction - though with huge flaws

still, when you consider older engine versions, you will see that sokker progressed...

do you remember the days, when players didn't run sideways? because there were times, when players run only in one way, forward

there were times when there were through passes from defenders to strikers, one after another

now the game is really nice - the playmaking, combinations, changing direction of running etc.

I agree with you about this... I hope there will be some change about the goal shoots. This is the only problem. And the double divine defenders isn't good enough.

This could be easy. With ATT option a striker need bring the ball. If you would like the striker pass more, "take your striker with MID option". In the old ME, when I was the hungarian NT coach, I did this against Romania, and Norway, and the striker passed the ball(this was good against a deep defensive system)

well, since you posted the stats only, you quite obviously are trying to refer that sokker is dead, because the opponent won, though he had less shots on goal.

We had 19 shots, 10 of which situations 1 on 1, our strikers have 14-14-14 striker
our keeper 18 keeper 16 pace.

opponent have 9 shots, two goals.

if we deserved to lose, then you're a jerk

First shot... wide
2nd... GK blocked it
3rd.... totally wide!
4th ... blocked
5th.... wide
6th... caught
7th... blocked (most clear chance so far)

the first shot... all alone!! .... no doubt it was a goal. (0-1)

8th shot... corner kick... header very wide!
9th shot.... now THAT could have been a goal... bounce back to your forward at the penalty shot and the GK had an impressive block.
10th shot... very high.


2nd & 3rd shot of Greece: another huge counter... you leave his two forwards alone vs. your GK. Your defense is way too high. GK manage to block one shot but not two. Bad defense tactic in my opinion.

11th shot... very high.
12th...from outside the big area. shot caught by GK.
13th... very wide
14th.... easy shot, caught by GK
15th... header from a cross, too wide.
16th....free kick, header, way off.
17th... shot from VERY far away, caught by GK.
(not ONE clear chance from your team on 35 mins on the second half!!)

18th...great long pass (best one in the game) and the GK manages to block a 1 vs 1 scenario.

19th... lost shot block by gk.



In summary: I think the game was very normal.

With the exception of shots 9 and 18th where the GKs seemed like a wall. Maybe too good, though they can be superdivine in Keeper already. And he changed GK without really needing to... BOTH GKs are divine form!! So that is a huge advantage for them.

You had some weaknesses in your DEF tactic and thus gave them two free goals pretty much.

58.8 v. 60.1??? that is a BIG difference too you?? You clearly have no clue what you are talking about.

You know... I also complain about problems with the current ME, but with more solid points. You are mad about your lose, agreed, I would be too. But as I just mentioned, there are only two shots that I see that could have really gone in had there not been a Superdivine GK with Divine form blocking them!!!
And one shot was the play of the penalty. So in a best scenario for you, you could have gotten away with a 2-2 tie. Maybe there is a bug that made you put a very aggressive defensive line very high like if you had all divine pace defenders or something.

I really dislike when people complain to just complain.... because we lose focus on the real problems and also, when someone comes with a REAL complain, it just gets lost because the mods get used to having people complain for this types of things. It does not help.

just in stats, I agree with you.

In game.. VERY different. Both his goals came from 1 vs 1 scenarios even before getting in the area... it was 1/4 field position. So all alone for that long time it was easier to score.. and second score was on a second shot because the other forward got the bounce. Had you had a DEFENDER then he could have gotten the bounce.

As I said.. maybe you did deserve a goal extra, but the goals from Greece where do to your defensive tactic and not their form or skill power.

and we had a situation much 1 on 1.
why did not give 3 goals? our strikers is better for sure.
