It's stupid that the goalie is god, the idea behind this new ME was ok but how it was applied I think if Sokker was a project in a company and you had a proposition for these changes they would like your idea but they would sack you after they saw how you did it ...

Sokker is usually a crappy game? Hmmm.. with that mind set, no wonder you complain. It might not be a very objective view.

But as I also mentioned... we all know there are things to work on with the new ME. The ones I mentioned, the penalty kick scenario which you just brought up and has been mentioned quite a few times.... and so on.

Hopefully they will get to work on this flaws, but as I person that disliked the new ME in the beginning, at least now is better than when it first came out.

but how would you solve it? in theory, in lets say in thousand game average, you should score around 1-2 goals out of 10 chances/shots(against a same level gk). the question is, how can you create this? imo, there are only 2 ways to do that.

1) make gk-s stronger(the current system)
2) make strikers weaker

I must say I prefer the first option. or would you have any other ideas, how to make a striker miss 8 shots out of 10 ?

You mention 2 options indeed, but the 2 options where applied both. Strikers should have kept the same level but now they are failing for an empty goal. OK this can happen in 1 out of 1000 cases, but not 2 times in one game.

no the current level is optimal 1-2 goals out of 10 shots(wild guess).

so to make strikers keep the same level they used to (?)(make them better) we should make the gks more efficient than they are right now.

but actually, I think striker missing an empty goal is rather different case than strikers being shit/gk-s being too strong.

they should just make close-range tap in-s to an empty goal more efficient for weaker strikers. I mean, shots should be more accurate to an empty goal than the shots when there is a gk in the goal.. my team has scored so many empty netters that I don´t really see this as a problem, but I actually kinda understand. even weak players shouldn´t miss an empty goal as long as they have some striker or passing skill.

:p yea, weak players should have a higher degree of failure on empty goals. But the best striker of a country ...

I just think that when we say, we think this has to be changed. Maybe it will be changed maybe not, but those changes are always accompanied by some unnecessary things no-one aksed for

but I mean, if there is an empty goal.. almost everybody should score. u just aim in the down center of the goal. you don´t have to aim just under the crossbar if there is no gk.

:-) Changes should have been applied in stages and wait for the users reaction after first game. Now all the changes were applied at once and that was to much. Now people who start to play sokker won't stay that long because it has become more complex.

+1 that is the carefull way following by a lot of game ( or other matter) respecting their users

SK is entertainment, tactics, competitivity, and obviously, and want win to everyone.

Of course goalie looks like God. They have to, as rubbish strikers make epic defenders look like rubbish ones. It's pretty obvious Greg started messing with 1 ratio, had to mess with another one to keep scores 'normal' (so no 7-5 results), then messed up other stuff because the previous alteration didnt work as good as it had too ... and in the end the whole game is unbalanced.
Question is ofc where the whining that resulted to first changes ('my striker is always tackled, weeeeeeh) 'forced' greg to make the changes.
