if it was an mistake that lead to goal, yes they would.... in rl mistakes are like 95% under pressure and 5% without pressure.... here in sokker its 50/50
And they happen way too often
And they happen way too often
les tiem of game could be a reason to increase mistakes XD any way both teams have the same probability
so it is even
so it is even

It's right, good point.

good point, the engine sucks for all, but it sucks more for the newcomers as the players acts like completely retarded, no surprise less and less are staying in the game after registering.
Now this f****** has to stop. In my cup match today my high level winger Yarburg managed to make backpasses next to every single time he had an oportunity to run towards the corner and make the cross - having no one in front of him. Its not just a few times - its WAY too many times. Its amazing that I can win a semi-final cupmatch with 6-0 and still feel pissed afterwards. Before these "making the wingers incompetent blind morons" changes were made, matches were usually a joy to see when winning. But when there are so many illogical and ugly (so ugly) decisions/moves etc made by the very best players the game can produce, then even a victory can't remove the extremely bad taste in my mouth after such a match.
I had one almost an incident aswell today.
striker was about 3-4m from the goal, opponent defenders all around him, I was expecting him to shoot on a goal asap, but instead, he passed out from 16m box and then my divine striker midfielder took a dangerous thunderbolt from 20+meters.
I was like.. "what the fuck are u dooin oh nice nice naisss naissss"

too bad charles, those examples/videos you put aren't even represent what this game bugs are.
what you posted were a pile of failed moves that happened because of somebody's mistake and/or in a decisive situation.
will someone drove the ball out of the line or back pass it way over the middle line to the DEF when, as adaca describe it, having all the time/space in the world?? no!
they simply brings it forward while looking for a team mates in front to pass (cross) for.
or if there's a counter attack situation and (again) no other opponent's player near them, they will dribble the ball as near as they could to the keeper to open up a chance.

Maybe stop complaining, your winged totally dominated the match and i havent seen a better winger ever
Oh please..... come on... I know how a winger should/would behave. I should not adopt and make my winger fit to a faulty engine (not play him on the side? and not with the aim of reaching the corner to make the cross?). The faulty engine should adopt to real life - isn't that what greg ultimately wants? I said it before, but I'm missing some player AI - some situational sense when doing an action. Not only wingers could use that. And how about if players actually acted like they had a little faith in their own skills? Like "hey! I do have divine technique. Maybe I could try to take on the challenge to outdrible my opponent (now that he is not directly in front of me) instead of playing like a sissie and get rid of the ball when I feel him coming too close".
@adaca: No sorry. I will not stop complaining as long as I think theres a good reason to do so. My winger dominated the top stupidity list - thats what I saw when it comes to "acting like a winger". Not only did he not use the free space in front of him multiple times to make a dash for the goal line, and instead made the completely pointless backpass (just because the engine sees an unmarked player behind with a clear line of sight). There were also a few times when he was not even able to pass 5 meters backwards without crossing the sideline when he recieved the throw-in near the corner. Ok, I know this a seperate bug, that has not yet been prioritized by the developers as important enough to fix.
@*ady*: Yes. I persist in using a winger. My tactical setup in front has some other advantages with this new engine which I will not reveal here.
@Väinämöinen: And how do you suggest a winger should be positioned in this new engine? Not on the side?
To be honest, I don't see the engine as all bad. The central midfield play is good, and other stuff at least has good intentions. Its the way wingers behave now that annoys me. I think someone else already pointed out that "wingers have gone from being too dangerous to not being dangerous at all". Combine that with much less efficient headers. Of course a winger should always be dangerous if the opponent leaves him completely unmarked. It should be penalized. Sadly the opponent can get away with not caring about the winger and play with a centralized defense, beacause chances are that the winger will make some kind of backpass anyway before reaching the point of making the cross.

Then be an grumpy old man, your winger played beautifully and didnt lose the ball once unless he crossed (which he did much more times then i can get my winger to do).. and completely pointless backpass?? Your first goal was scored that way, and each time he did, your midfielders who received it made things very dangerous.... you have also placed your mid all the way out where he is, so its your own fault he sees him as a good passing opportunity so often, you could also have placed him further out and further in front to get him to go to endline more...
And you want common sense in the players?? But when they made man marking, that was wrong too?? And you want the faulty engine to adopt to real life?? But when you stopped winning 12-0 each match, and got some challenge in some matches (just as top teams have in rl) you started to complain??
I agree that the engine is not perfect and will not be unless they invest even further time in it, and start listening to what bugs there are, but your complaints are unrealistic, and before they start fixing 1 out of 100.000 players like yarburg is, they should fix the rest 99.999...because as it is now, your wing is way more dominating compared to others, and your expecting way too much of him....

Well, check one of my last games, I play a winger ... hard to see on the general overview though ;) It's just an explanation :)
I'll bring this up again. In my last league match 7 goals were scored from winger action and 6 of them were headers. This is not coincidence. My winger was by far the best passer of my league last season even though I had one of the worst teams. To say wingers are not dangerous at all is plain wrong.
Sure they are weaker than they use to be (as they should, they were overpowered), but top wingers still have their use especially against teams that don't cover them properly..
There are imho more urgent bugs to be fixed in the ME (like launch and run) then winger's behaviour..

Last Thursday in Spain's Cup (eights of finals) we have seen something hilarious about the 'seriousness' of this ME. Btw, it was reported by the *winner* of the match, who, far from being happy, he was somewhat astonished by such an stupidity.
In this match, the winner (isvar) made a terrible mistake. Upon planning a substitution of one ATT by a another ATT in the half time, he forgot to check the number, so the order was carried on, and the reserve ATT effectively substituted... the main GK (number 1, which is the one by default in the box).
As he says, his reselve ATT is a total nullity in the Keeper skill (in fact, it marked 9%), but he acted anyway as GK the full second half of the match. Of course, it was his mistake, and nothing to do with the ME.
So, as bad GK as he was, he received a goal. Oddly, it seems that the rival players were not informed about that the GK was not a real goalkeeper, so it is quite absurd that, playing with 3 ATTs, none intented to score with shots from afar. But well, asking this ME to manage IAs and such could be too much, perhaps.
Well, in the end his team succeded in scoring, so they tied, and played the extra time. In the end, in 75 minutes the other team seemed not to be able to score nothing more than 1 goal, the same number than his, in spite of shooting... 28 times!
Then, the most funny part: the penalties. The winning team, which plays with 1 only ATT (which does not mean that the MIDs had to be null in Striker, of course) and who, from 28 shoots has scored one, goes and scores 4 penalties in a row against a GK which marks 71%.
On the other hand, the team which has 3 ATTs, which have in front a player who is not a GK, only scores 1, failing other one (goalpost), and allow the ATT in the keep to block! 1 shoot (1 ATT marking 55 vs a no-GK marking 9).
Yes, we could talk eternally about the tactics and such (I agree that the winner deserved to win), but let's focus on the GK issue and the penalties: WHAT IS THIS?
