Subject: How do you watch the matches?
I thought that you learnt more about psychology Charles... The real problem is not about the change but about how it is communicated in change. To make the change efficient, you need to well explain it, to be very good pedagogue, and moreover, you need to give the means to be successful.
Givng the means here is onyl having a really strong staff on the test servers to be able to provide us a really efficient new ME before giving us... Imagine i order to you to buy a new PC with a very small computer screen, a very big mouse, a weird keyboard, how do you feel ? Happy ? No, it is obvious... You wonder why creators fo this product wouldn't have tested before ? Right ?

I also think that communication is often very important and can convince people to adapt to changes. But on Sokker better communication won't change a thing, complaints will always come as a certain group of managers will always be unhappy with changes as they loved the, always the same result and scaring away new managers by 10+ to 0 results, pingpong ME.
And it came to my attention often it's mostly the same group of managers that keep on nagging :S The worst thing to do is to listen to this group that shouts the loudest, not even backed up by valid data. It's all based on feelings, assumptions and 2 match examples, while the DEVs have the true data to see if something is working or not. Ok, not all was great, but at least they are trying to make it better and not keeping it all the same and watch the number of managers drop more and more each season. Because that was a fact, Sokker was dying if you look at the number of managers last seasons.
And why it wasn't tested enough can be blamed on staff members of each country that do have test server access but never used it when feedback was asked from the DEVs about the new 3D viewer.

In all societies, in all companies, in a communities, in all family, there are people who speak louder than others... That's not mean that the silent majority of people are ok with a new development ? And more in a game which is onyl connected to fun and not obligation as in work. And "complaining" as you name them are very useful and even the most useful to understand how is viewed a situation. It is the main problem of a chief to avoid these calls, a problem that can bring him into a fail. And the biggest fail is in a market where are customers like here.

There are some kind of changes that can't be tested. This don't means the whole product is on testing phase. What I can't agree is that some people are complaining so fast with every cahange when I need weeks and weeks to truly judge if most of changes are better or worse. Of course, I can opinate how I feel with changes, but be sure of bad working instead a own bad match?
This game only survive if we go to a good simulator. If not, as Charles Hill said, it will be some kind of ping-pong-goal just to satisfy a little group of managers.

And what about Pk alsways stopped ? Only logical complaints... And what about martians faces whereas Devs wnats to developp a game closer to reality ? Many Bug/Ideas were submitted in the past and still waiting for answers... Just answers... And you feel that people will always be agreed with such a lack of communication and acting like sheeps to help few people only in their own world ?

I already replied all these argues. Just a thing more before I leave now for a while: don't mess the past here. We are looking foward.
ME is broken at the start. Enhanced technique is wrong.

Increased defense and the attack would work better, then the penalties would work better.
be a better game in midfield, and finally there will be more likely to use one on one with the goalkeeper, penalties will not be a nightmare...

Wrong you relpied to my first questions partially as i had to explained it more... And you just avoid them now... And don't worry, everyone is looking forwards here to have the better. And looking at the past is really useful to avoid to make many times the same mistakes ;-)

Only logical complaint
Things change when managers post constructive complaints, not the nagging that some are doing. Constructive complaints is feedback and feedback is very useful and can be used to make things better :)
And ofcourse I can't simply assume the silent majority is happy with all changes because they don't post on the forums, but on the other hand, managers that are happy won't post that much on the forums as unhappy people. But also the other way around doesn't count, that most are unhappy because of a small group do complain a lot on the forum with every change they don't agree with and/or make them loose matches they won in the past because of a to simplified ME.
For things like the martians faces and other graphic designs I think the community should be asked for their opinion, but that has everything to do with taste. The ME is something complete different and has not that much to do with taste but well working data, that is much more complicated and a lot of data/watched matches is needed to give good feedback, not only based on 1 or 2 matches (often by managers who lost a match and are pissed because of that and start posting their feelings).
If managers want to give feedback, please keep doing that as it is really helpful, but when it becomes oversimplified nagging (like 'ALL is bad' and 'NOTHING is good' etc), please don't as nothing can be done with these comments and will only screw up the atmosphere of the Sokker forum.
