my defender played 90 mins last night and now he has a 12 day injury

how is that possible?

In the last minute and just before the end you can see a bautifull red cross appear over his head as he tries to control the ball.

It seems that injuries produced when in play, and if the game does not stop before the end, do not get noted in the report, but it should, maybe appended to the end, for instance:

The teams leave the pitch at the end of the half. The fans applaud great play from both sides. Sandala got injured and has to be helped off the field.

but why wasn't he substituted? Why isn't the description in the report?

you cant sub a player till ball goes out of play.
also it often happens players get injuries that are slight and if they play entire game after, the injury can turn out to be >slight injury. i.e 8 days.
in this case you got last minute injury. watch it before saying its a mystery injury.
report often leaves out information, or is a few minutes off in timing

It signify, that the injury was more than 50 days (direct after the match).

Maybe he slipped on a banana after the match in locker room :)

He must have slipped on 100 bananas in a row then..I've never seen 50 days injury before.. lucky owner and French NT..

He probably was injured twice in that match. First when he launched the ball and a second time when he was fouled just after.

Wel, now he can rest from training and enjoy his coctails and having sex with his supermodel girlfriend, poor guy :(

yeah its an old bug. i remember it was "fixed" after the case where a few players got 60 day injuries or 2x max injuries in a row.
it was supposed to be fixed. strange its back. maybe just a freak incident of a christmas present

Rumours say that he slipped over his wine bottle and he fell onto his baguette. And, he already had food poisoning from eating blue cheese. Poor fellow! :-(
