Sad to see performance like this from ME in so high stakes game, this game with Polska had great sokker potential but anyway I think we deserved this victory, we can not tell what would happened without red cards, would be nice if we could...

congrats Polska on this game, be true sportsman and honesty congrats too, red cards helped but we did not want them ;)

After already 15 mins of the game I was convinced that we will win unless some really bad luck happens. Our tactics was simply so much better. And then when they got 1st red card, I though "ok, now this is secured". We will never know but I believe that we had this game 11vs11 too. Luck is also part of the game and it never goes only in 1 direction. We should have had 3:0 after 1st half if we had normal luck with our chances.

We got semi-finals once, so we have 1 medal :P Not this time around, though :( But then again:
Argentina: 740 users -> out in 1/4 finals
Poland: 12882 users -> out in 1/4 finals

But if you really want to have fun, go and actually watch today´s match ;)

I think our coach did an excellent job today. We thought only a lucky, unfair victory was possible for us (Finnish central defenders are better mids that all our mids combined :P), but we ended up dominating the match and suffering from extremely bad finishing. Then our coach sent in 2 superdivine form strikers for the penalty shootout, and they both missed... This was certainly not a good day to play Russian roulette :P
On the other hand, Suomi was good at breaking the offside, and a handful of 1-on-1s is enough to turn a match around at this level (especially at their level :P).

Now Eesti is the only "big" (i.e., past world cup winner) left, so let's see if they position themselves as clear 2nd team, or if we have a new member in the Olympus...

The substitutions of your coach were worthless! Why not substitute Bielsa after 60 or 70 minutes?

It's easy to say after they missed the penalties - would you say the same if they both scored? :)

Substituting Bielsa was another option, but then again, just because they have high scoring doesn't mean they're comparable to Bielsa, so there was a trade-off...

Now as Moldova is out, I will continue to support Ale.
