- 1
hi guys one quick question, i have a 20 years old player in my young team, but in the last team's formation he appeared red, and today he didn't play, why?
other question, is he receiving any training?
Thanks!
ps-> i have the possibility to hire him since 2 weeks

Probably this is the answer:
"we have decided to allow every junior that is 19 or younger to play in junior matches even if they are ready to promote, but any older players can only play if they are still trainable (i.e - weeks left in school is greater than 0.) This is because many 20 year old players exit the junior school early in the season, so managers could still use them for at least a season before they aren't allowed to play anymore, thus increasing the number of unbalanced junior matches"(from sokker newspage).

Do players in youth school that have finished training but not offered a contract still get regular training?
No, but the youth coaches evaluation of them will still change.
