By deleting bot-teams we want to make the game more interesting for new managers. Currently many of them have to play one or two seasons in bottom leagues against bots only, before they promote and play against human-controlled teams.
I think for Germany deleting the 5th league was off target. There were no active teams in the 5th league.
Reducing the 4th leagues from 64 to 32 would be helpful.
And let new managers start in a league with at least one active team. Today a new manager starts in a league with 7 bots.

i don't mind the bottom division teams being deleted. but what shocked our U21 manager is that a 18yo player Kornej Viktorov, who was part of U21 team, was deleted with his bot team and was not placed at the transfer list! =(
2014-11-07 13:55:54
Did he play at least once for the u21? Just being a member of the squad is not enough. There were several other players from deleted bot teams on TL, so it seems it worked correctly.
2014-11-07 13:59:42
i don't think so. i had an impression that it's enough to be part of U21 or NT not to be deleted.
but you are right. it's in the rules
National Team players are also protected, if the team that owns them turns into a "bot". As long as they are a current member of the national team and they have played at least once for the national team, they will be transfer listed when the "Bot" team is replaced.

I should read the rules again! =)

You are not talking about Sokker surviving, but about sokker being replaced by a very different thing, and then this new thing surviving.
But then again, the devs could just start that new game from scratch if they're interested in it. Nothing prevents them from building such a game. They can even use the name "Sokker" if there is any brand value to it. But why kill this game in the process? If it's too costly and not profitable enough, they can drop it any time, new game or not :P

You miss the point...some of things I mentioned don't mean that it's sokker killing...but there are many obvious minuses...which are killing the game admit that or not

You are suggesting to turn it into an android game with unrealistic world cups and completely different league dynamics-season length.

You basically propose to turn Sokker into a game for the people who is not currently playing it. And they are not playing it because they want a different kind of game. Hence, you can only succeed if you produce that game, which is different, and which is not the one that attracts those of us who still play ;)

That's why ull stay to play it alone in few years...I love sokker, u love sokker, but people is leaving...there are many things u didn't mentioned...wc, tutors and advertisement...pls comment that...thx
