I would never do that first, but if I see that my opponent tries to do that against my team (to buy players from my team in order to destabilise TD or to find out skills) than I would do everything possible to buy his players- I wouldn't just sit with crossed arms and fingers and hope the best...
the romanians managed to find out some skills of serbian players, some serbian dudes did the same after that, and even more, by convincing some users to sell some first squad players now...it`s even in my oppinion

There's a difference between searching for skills on forum, and trying to get them by false transfer offers - almost nobody does that and it's far from fair play in my book:)
