It wasn't ad..
As there was no ad, I only put the numbers of the skills by side to a global understanding.
It was ironic, and is a Really Bad Junior.

Promoted from youth school (outstanding) two weeks ago with the best ever distribution of skills - just imagine what a player this MIGHT have been. Instead he was sold for just 11 000 NZ$.

No 'excellent' skill is a bit of a let down, but apart from that you can't be too upset.
I would be upset..striker and keeper wasted..terrible for divine YP
yes it is terrible....if u want ill take him for 1 euro :D
I still consider it lucky to even have a divine junior, he has nice skills and a good talent for sure. The best I've ever got was a brilliant one.
I don't know how divine youths tend to look, but far worse than these allrounder skills would be poor pace for example.
I agree. Lucky to even have divine :) its rare. Skills could be better of course but its not so bad especially when its sure he's got killer talent.
usually all high level youths do have a certain level of keeper skill also. i actually guess there is a formula to see how long a player was in YS. e.g tragic keeper means less than 12 weeks, hopeless keeper = less than 24 weeks etc..
as greg confirmed a long time ago when youth comes to school they have predetermined skill,
after this they gain each week in all skills..there is no focus on individual ones.
once a skill is maxed out (excellent++) then the extra amount of training they would get in that is divided into the other skills so that skill stays as it is and others rise faster.
most divine level juniors have at least a few levels of keeper due to high talent and lots of training in YS.
also to note you will never see a 3x excellent youth pull who is tragic in everything else.
usually highest is maybe adequate/good. once these skills are trained to excellent most others will reach (1) or (2) also

Thanx for these insights, for a long time now I have been curious how the youths are built!
The system you describe would mean that a youth that enters the school with level 0 (tragic), woud become an "allrounder" pull, meaning every skill is the same. I don't remember my pulls that were trained up all the way from tragic unfortunately. Anybody does?

I pulled I guy with good that started with tragic (officially, I rather think it was hopeless). These were his skills, so not really allround style.
hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
adequate pace, hopeless defender
average technique, poor playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, average striker

Now he is 20 :) and still in my team, so doesn't really fit in this thread :p
