This comp couldn't have been organised at a worst time!

The reason being that I'll be listing my keeper tonight, so unless I can get in somebody decent before Friday, my chances would have gone from "slim" to "not unless hell freezes over" ;-)

me too but the cup is getting stronger and stronger you can postpone transfer with 3 days :)

My debut in the cup resulted in a 10-0 hammering. Ok, I just sold my keeper (and haven't replaced him) but I probably needed 3 of them in there, not just the one ...lol! I haven't got a bad defense skills wise but my opponent just waltzed through time and time again. Clearly, my defenders are not quite as good as they need to be. So at least the game was somewhat informative ;-)

The tourney you are in, 3 out of 4 defenders are better then those on canadian NT... :)

You played against strikers with 3x18 and 1x18+17,5+17 (or something like that, when you look at wage), so you still think your defence is up for it?? :)

In sokker, no.

However, 4 of my defenders have 15, 15, 16 and 16 defending. That's not that far off being the maximum defending possible, with that in mind, in reality I would have expected a few more defensive stops than what we managed to achieve...

In my last game of the tournament before being eliminated, we put up a creditable 3-2 defeat against a much better team today.
