Subject: Terrible Juniors..

2013-09-26 12:49:38
Indeed more unpredictible :) But with an ok youth coach and juniors in youth school for 15+ weeks, every manager can know if he has talented juniors or not.

It takes a bit more time to find out the talents and even then it's still not 100% accurate, but I think that's fine as 100% accuracy isn't necessary :)

you can check junior's talent in 3-4 trainings after he leaves the YS, what's the problem...:)

A youth coach prediction can be +3 or -3 wrong. Playing youth matches and/or a better youth coach should give better predictions.

Im not sure about that, i used to play youth matches and had some horrible fluctuations. I have a magical coach, still terrible predictions, dont know what else i can do...i'd rather know his talent instead of his age. Its insane to have a 16yo average junior and after 10 weeks and some up-and-down fluctuations, he is still average.
2013-09-26 15:29:43
Well it just makes you have less info about him, but he still comes out of the YS the same like before, so no difference there.

The only difference is that it's harder to decide which one to sack when you have too many youths.

I heard about that, but i still dont get it. So you say that even if my idiot coach says that i have a 16yo average junior, he can exit the school as a solid one, for example?
2013-09-26 15:48:23
Theoretically your junior could go up or down 3 levels last week before promotion, so yes :)
2013-09-26 15:50:06
Never happened to me, when i pull an excellent junior it has around 32-33 skillpoints, but i will keep an eye on that in the future, thanks guys.
2013-09-26 15:54:37
I said before pulling. So when it comes last week and training update its the correct skill (I think) but on last week I've seen a lot of 1 skill ups and downs. Not even seen 2. But as rules say theoretically its possible 3 skill levels. Not with magical coach though :)
2013-09-26 15:56:24
Ohh, we this wasnt my question. As far as i understood, you can pull an average junior which will have a solid junior's skillpoints. Did i get it right what you were saying borkos?
2013-09-26 16:12:18
Yes, exactly :)

We don't always see the 'real' level of youth.

High level of coach, playing in youth league and many weeks of training in youth school before promotion make the shown level more probable to be true, accurate.

But what doesn't change is that the youth train and leave the ys exactly like in previous system, we just don't see it as clear as before.

I don't like this change, but it is not as big change as most people think :)

I had 3 levels pop in on week with magical coach but it was the first week :)

junior average pop up from average to solid ...then next week dropped to good and this week(his third) he popped to solid again. He is 16yo and has 6 weeks left...I hope for his excellent skill at the final week:D. I dont know what to say about his talent yet:P
