Subject: let's show our opinion

Just a remark and observation..I see Charles is viewed as a DEV defender or henchman here, but he is actually one of the biggest critics of DEVs on the staff forum and probably the most active one in terms of posting bugs and ideas..You don't have to always agree with him but from what I can tell he is trying his best to help sokker.. I think he also wrote multiple times that the delay was a bad idea..In fact, there is not a single staff member on the Linguists forum (were new features are discussed) and that includes Damian, that agreed with the delay. We all were very upset about this. We all tryied to explain to greg that it was a wrong marketing move, you have to add new attractive features to Plus account (arcade was a way to go), not remove features that were once for free.

All this complaining and arguing here is absolutely for nothing, greg only listens to himself and won't change his mind..Nobody knows the financial situation of sokker and perhaps the ads are the only way to save this game..but since greg doesn't communicate with his staff we can all just speculate.. as frustrating as it is, the only thing that mathers and the only thing you can do is get over it, accept it and try to enjoy sokker as much as possible and if you are optimist, hope for the better days..

I said that many times before. it's not as much about promotion as it is about outdated design.. Anybody who has ever worked as a Tutor and was sending mails to new users (I've send hundreds of mails myself) knows that 99% of newbies don't even read the welcome mails, they all logg in 1 time, because they are repelled by the site's design and won't even give it a chance..It's a shame, because the training system and tactic editor here was way ahead of it's time and is still even today the best of any football managers I've tried..

Exactly, i told some posts before you almost the same story ;)
So let's point on that and not at all negative things.

Anyways, we can discuss it for ages, the delay is the smallest problem sokker has.

Other - I'm a plus user because of my moderator status (who wouldn't pay for plus else) and I don't care about the delay because I can't watch my matches anyway due "&" symbol in my clubs name and I'm not even hoping anymore for some effort from devs to fix that bug

Promotion is a problem, but this is absolutely also true. And I think that's the problem, some really important things need to be changed to make Sokker attractive and competitive again. And not only the outdated design and bad promotion, but also the complete layout of the game as it is really userunfriendly. If you never played this game before, just try and find for example the Tactic Editor, or Trainers Transferlist, or an answer to your question in the Rules :/ I can imagen this is also one of the main reasons new signups almost never come back after first and only login.

And ofcourse another problem is communication. Just look at the news page and see when last news was posted. And not even all new implementations are in the news (like new search option for friendly matches). Managers are asking what the DEVs are doing, but when something is fixed or implemented, it's not even told to us (staff) so we can't write a news article to inform all managers.

Hopefully a lot of things are going to be fixed and changed soon :)

you can as well ask 'who likes to pay for highways?' or 'who likes to pay taxes?'

the question is whether such payment/delay gives us something back.

for example:

do you prefer delay before games, or much slower server?

One question, when did your get this idea: OK, as it seams to me that I am alone in my fight against supid delay and preasure of users to pay PLUS (with this delay)??

When I look at the last pages of the topics »34000- managers in Sokker and New match engine discussion, I get a completely different idea of you being 'alone' ............

I will stop paying plus not only because greg terrorizes free users but also cause its definitely not worth anymore. The idea was to watch opponent matches and create tactics but there is no more use of that and arcade games? I find it insulting. Such a piece of shit when there are so many bugs and other crap going on here? come on.... Didn't care for 3D, didn't care for arcade just bugs bugs bugs and I hoped that after 4 years of my playing time something will be fixed ! Everything from my starting in 2009 was so down ! launching? TERRIBLE (not fixed, not stable). So even if I want to help free users (cause especially Lithuania has very low number of users and its killing my game) there are much more worse things which angers me not to buy plus anymore and it's much more useless than it used to be.

I have plus, I do not like the delay, but it is no reason to not buy plus. Why is that not an option?

I also do not like that not plus can not watch matches of other people. I think this 2 things are mistakes of Greg. But still sokker is a great game, so I buy plus.
