Hello, this seasson of AFF cup is for u20 NT player.
The plan of this tournament is to give more chance to play for our u20 NT player as preparation for the next seasson u21 NT World Cup Qualification (WCQ).
i invite the country who will join [U20 NT] AFF CUP this seasson:
- AUSTRALIA [AUS]
- INDONESIA [IDN]
- MALAYSIA [MAS]
- NEW ZEALAND [NZL] --> resign. not have enough squad. need replacement.
- PHILIPINNES [PHI]
- PRATHET THAI / THAILAND [THA]
- SINGAPORE [SIN]
- VIETNAM [VIE]
- INDIA (IND)
- ZHONGGUO (CHN)
- USA (USA)
The schedule would be:
Group stage
Week 10: Round 1 (1v2 and 3v4)
Week 11: Round 2 (1v3 and 2v4)
Week 12: Round 3 (1v4 and 2v3)
Finals
Week 13: Semi finals and friendlies (1Av2B, 2Av1B, 3Av4B and 3Bv4A)
Week 14: Finals, battle for third and friendlies (3Av3B and 4Av4B)
For the rules:
A. u20+max 3 21 y.o player on the pitch. (if you play more than 3 player age 21 y.o, your team decided lose WO: 0-3)
the rules for it is:
1. you can put 5 player 21 years old on your bench as substitution.
2. you can also play maximum 3 player 21 years old on the pitch.
3. you are allowed to make subs between 21 y.o player on the pitch with 21 y.o player on your subs list.
4. If you already have 3 player 21 y.o on the pitch, you are not allowed to subs your u20 player with your 21 y.o player from bench.
5. automatic substitution will count lose for you if your 21 y.o player on the bench enter the pitch replace your u20 player who got injured, while there are already 3 player on the pitch.
B. Grouping is random (FREDDY_PAITO is in charge of the grouping which will be held on week 3, Sunday)
C. Group standings will be according to:
1. points
2. goal difference
3. goals for
4. match of the tied teams
5. score against the lower ranked team
6. score against the higher ranked team
D. The coach who will send the match invitation first will decide on the venue (home or away)
E. The coach must report in the forum if they have sent the match invitation. The opponent must accept the invitation by Wednesday, 14:00 sokker time. If the opponent hasn't accepted the invitation by then, the coach has the right to set up a friendly match. If a friendly match has been arranged, the team will win 3-0 in the tournament. If the opponent was still able to accept, the match will be considered.
F. If both teams weren't able to fix the match, it will result in a 0-0 draw but without points in the
group stages. In case of the elimination stages, both teams cannot join the finals.
G. Coaches must message the AFF organizer (FREDDY_PAITO) and post in this forum if they have sent the match invitation.
H. Anything not mentioned here will be decided later.
For the coaches / new coaches: After the elections, please confirm if your nation will join this tournament.

And to add the exicitement of this tournament, there will be FAIR PLAY TEAM AWARD.
Country who win this FAIR PLAY TEAM AWARD, the coach will recive 2 month PLUS from AFF CUP sponsor.
FAIR PLAY TEAM AWARD is given to the best team who get the smallest fair play total points.
fair play points = team fouls + yellow card + red card.
Point counting rules:
1 player foul = 1 point
1 yellow card = 3 points
1 red card = 5 points.
lose by WO = 25 points
win by WO = 0 points
for both team not play and no information: each team get 30 points
example of fairplay points counting: [see this match report below]
we can count fair play point for that team on that match is:
1*6 + 3*1 + 6*2 = 6+3+12 = 21 points.
if there is another team have less points than 21, example 20 points, then that team who get 20 fair play points will win the fair play award.
in case more than one team have same total fairplay points, then it will decided by:
1. who has less red card. if still the same, then:
2. who has less yellow card, if still the same again, then:
3. who has less foul. if still the same result, then the winner will be decided by toss, by random generator machine. and team with first alphabet is act as the no.1 for the drawing.

I like the idea of the fair play team award :D
about age, i propose to use u20.

since it's gonna held near to the end of the season (week 10+), i think it's better to use only the u-20 players as the preparation for the world cup qualification.
the competition format is ok, each team will always get an opponent regardless they progress to the final or not.
and the fair play prize is really interesting as a catch to join this tournament.

if a team play 4 u21, then the team count lose even in the fact the team win. and his fairplay points will be as big as lose WO.

maximum 3 u21 players sounds good to me. also the penalty fair play points for those who break the rules.

i can agree with that. it can be solution for u21 player to play also and for team who want to play with all u20 player, it is also okay. i think this is a good combination.
