You also pay plus during a downtime, so no extra features during this time also ;)

Should plus not be extended when there is a downtime?
Downtime of 2 hours will extend plus with 2 hours.

Currently, you pay more for less.

But there are managers who do ask of others not to pay anymore. I wonder why. If managers don't like Sokker anymore, they should not ruin it for others.

I'm not asking anyone not to pay. I'm just pointing their money in another direction. Take for example the GnuPG project, sponsored by the Free Software Foundation, it's a free implementation of GPG, and it does a great (but invisible) job. If you send an email, only the receiver with the signed key will be able to read it, if you buy online, your credit card information is sent protected, your data is anonymous between the server (or another end user) and you.

Yet you prefer paying for a non-working, non-developed and half abandoned game? Is a free soccer game more important than a free implementation to secure your data?

And don't say you don't use it, because it's most likely implemented in some of the programs you use in your day to day basis.

But most important, I like the extra features I get with Plus.

Yeah, daytrading limit bypass is one heck of a feature!

I can give you an argument why not paying for Sokker anymore isn't a good idea. Do you think things will get better when no money is made anymore while there are still costs, or will they pull the plug? For most businesses no more income means it's the end soon. I still like Sokker so I hope this won't happen.

Or if greg wanted to keep it alive, it will take its development seriously and employ more workforce, even if it's at a loss at first, and start implementing some thing users have been demanding, communication being the easiest and most important one.

Or greg could just not care and let the game die, something that will happen sooner or later, even if you pay for Plus or not.

I have really no idea why you spend time of your life (time you can spend only ones) on a game you don't like. You must have a really shitty life if spending your time on Sokker, something you don't like, and fighting Plus as some misplaced saviour is the best you can come up with ....

I'm addicted to having this website turned on at all times. It's like being addicted to drugs or nicotine. You know it's bad but you can't help it until it doesn't exist or gets too expensive or something so sokker being dead is a very easy solution. There you go. Addiction developed when this game was great but now like cigarettes in long time, coughing and all, I feel bad effects when sokker problems increase and more and more people are getting furious. Still it's great being around and seeing how this game is dying. Protests and boycotts are always fun.

To help poor people to get what they want is always great. At least to save their money in this case.

This game belong to Greg, and he is the one to decide whats in his priority.

Take it or leave it.

Noone force anyone to pay for Plus or playing tis game, I pay for my plus as I enjoy playing this game and beside the help for Greg, I like some feachers here too (and NO...... I am not a day trader ar a trder at all).

And why to donate your moey to the GnuPG project, I bam sure that if you will donate it to help people form starving in Africa is much important..........
2014-01-22 12:34:15
don't think donate money to Africa is the same than donate to GNU. Donate money to GNU is not a "donation", it's pay his work

I'm just pointing their money in another direction.

Yeh, the power of suggestion ... it's the same if you ask me, but if you like to think it is different, keep fooling yourself :)

Yet you prefer paying for a non-working, non-developed and half abandoned game? Is a free soccer game more important than a free implementation to secure your data?

These are 2 different things. I pay for features of a game, which doesn't have a thing to do with my personal data.

Yeah, daytrading limit bypass is one heck of a feature!

Camera options, statistics (not enough, but I have some), logo ofcourse, etc

As I already posted, things are wrong with Sokker, the linguist forum and test server are overloaded with my posts and that I copy from all kind of forums in the hope things will be fixed, solved, improved and more :/ But I also like the game itself, even with the things that wrong.

Or if greg wanted .... most important one.

Yep, and many are asking for it, or better, have asked for it because if staff become silent and demotivated, unfortunatly. Just a few are still trying to move forward, but it's becoming more difficult over time.

I... I... I really don't know how to counter argument this.

It's like saying you are uglier than me but I'm ugly too and laughing at me. I mean, I'm just glad your Plus saved the life of a poor chinese boy working 12 hours a day in a factory.

And I have to congratulate you. Being from Israel and walking wall the way to Poland to give Greg the money to his hand. I assume you haven't used any kind of internet transaction for your Plus, because that would require the kind of encryption you don't care about and it'll be quite hypocrital from you.

This game belong to Greg, and he is the one to decide whats in his priority.

Never said otherwise, I just said there are better things worth contributing to. I'm not trying (nor I'd want) to be the head of Sokker.

Bad comparison, Sokker isn't a car. Sokker is a good game

Really? Both Sokker and the car are products with some kind of guarantee from owner/seller.

Is there any place in Sokker rules when I can find phrase: "Be aware! Game is full of bugs and errors and you must take full responsibility for this, because game owners don't care about it"?

It's paying for some work you believe it's worth it, for me it's quite similar.

I know this, as I have pointed out, I also had access to the linguist forums and the test server and I know all the work you do, which is a point against Sokker because you are rarely heard.

Yeh, the power of suggestion ... it's the same if you ask me, but if you like to think it is different, keep fooling yourself :)

It's a suggestion to spend some money on things that are also important and worked on, in order to value all the effort behind a project.

It's a long time investment for Sokker. Did I ever told people to quit playing? Did I head them to different games? No, in fact, I just pointed to a project completely unrelated from a soccer game so the argument wouldn't be misleading.

I just told others they should stop investing money for nothing, and that may awake the development of this game. I never said quit, I never said this isn't going to change and most importantly, I never said don't pay anything if it becomes worth of it.

I can understand the beauty of open source projects, but I dont really care about them, I believe that if something have a commercial opportunity, then it will become a live one day.

So I know that when I pay for my PLUS , some of the payment is going as commision to the Moeny transfer company, and I know that they were already pay the developers of this encryption writer that I don't care about

So you can say I am selfish, but Sokker for me is much important then to make the world "better" place, and give me enough fun to donate the money :)

I dont like the idea of playing this (or any other) free online game and try to convince people not to help it and help other projects, imo its like spitting into the glass you drink from.

Realy bad compreison,

Unless you get the car for free........

Did you ever read a warning from LADA, FIAT, FORD that thier cars are bad ? (and they will never let you use the car free for as long as you want before you pay for it...........)
