this logic is wrong if have to admins should go to all transfer one by one and they should do it
there is not too much transfers for 2-3h gap
You gotta rollback all the transfers that happened in three hours on a Sunday evening. That's a lot. I've counted that 140 transfers will occur in the next 3 hours, and its Monday. I presume there was at least 3-400 transfers on Sunday night. Im not even sure if they can track down all the transfers that happened in a fixed period of time, dont know if they have acces to a transfer history or something like that. Anyways, for transfer cancellation, they need a strong motive, and that amount definitely needs the approval of a dev, i suppose.
we have a lot of staff
No, we dont. Most of them are veggies, no offense.
something has to be done
True
the game is dead
No, but with this kind of developer involvement, it will be, for sure.
We've seen this issue countless times now, in the past when dev's were active, at least we get a "sorry for inconvenience", that's the only difference. This current issue wont be solved, so its useless to debate it endlessly, imho.

but this has to be free?
Why not?Does real-life football has an auction fee?
That's not how things work in this world
No,actually real-life tranfers are fine, sokker's auction fee is retarded
I think the main reason is because it costs money and managers don't like that
we say the same thing,i think you didn't read it carefully...
And whose fault is this when this overestimation happens?
Why do you care if someone overestimate his player?
If he is overestimated,he probably won't get sold and if someone is stupid enough to pay these money, well,it's their money, their decision
They are screwed
Again, your sense of solidarity and fellowship towards the game's weakest is thrilling
A negative balance doesn't happen out of the blue
Of course,but ask yourself
What will you gain by punishing them like that? What do you expect?
that they will learn from their mistakes and wait 50 days after their teams are bankrupt for a new team?
Wrong, they will forget the game, plain and simple
Our goal is to keep players in the game, not ousting them
So no, I don't agree with your idea of removing the auction fee.
that was a huge blow for my hopes and dreams but i will pick up my pieces and carry on
Not everybody see things the right way like myself

No, in real football there are costs like contact sign money, bonusses, representatives of players who ask % etc etc, all to get a player to sign a new contract. So Sokker transfers have absolutely nothing to do with reality. Sokker only uses auction fees, that's how it is.
Why do you care if someone overestimate his player?
I don't care, it's indeed their own money. But I didn't use this argument in the first place :/ It was you who used this argument .... read your own post again and please stay focussed!
Again, your sense of solidarity and fellowship towards the game's weakest is thrilling
That's your opinion, I know better. But I don't blame my own mistakes on Sokker, that's a big difference between me and many others in this topic.
Of course, but ..... not ousting them
You assume most of the managers who got screwed are new managers? I think almost all are older managers who knows there are downtimes but didn't use the auction fee.
Not everybody see things the right way like myself
*cough* ... alright.

You're right.
That's why other football simulators (for example, PManager), have zero auction fee.
That's not how things work in this world
You never pay fee for something you didn't sell it (or before selling), that's how things work in this world (supposing it is about the real world). After you got the selling....it's something else, than you got an income which can be chargeable.

PManager probably has a lot more different sollutions for different features, but this is Sokker.
You never pay fee for something you didn't sell
The point was, you can't get all the benefits for free, that's not how things work in this world.
But the most important point is, and as I already wrote, this is Sokker. Managers know how it works and know they take a risk by not using the auction fee. Ofcourse everyone is free to take that risk for max profits, but taking a risk also means that it can go wrong. I think it is inappropriate to start complaining afterwards and blame everything else except yourself when someone has lost money because of his/het own risk he/she took for max profits.

i also don't like complaining when i sell a player for less money that i would expect
This happened to me on Saturday, but ok it was my choise
But i completely understand the people who get robbed because of server issues
And we are not talking about 200-300K difference in price,we are talking about millions
Think also that,i put a player on TL with an asking price,i have to pay the tax and if the server crashes and i don't sell the player,i still payed the f*cking tax
I did everything right by your standards and i still get screwed
That is what i'm trying to tell you but you don't seem to get it
Lose the stupid auction fee, make it free for everyone to use and then it would be inappropriate to bitch about losing money

whatever is simple to fix there is no more devs.
See the tax as something like an insurance, if you dont to paid "insurance" you decided to take the risk.

I agree. Unfortunately dev's wont modify anything regarding the auction fee, in this century...
some users don't put players on transfer list with starting bid not because of the fee, just simply the reason coz when it starts with a small price a lot of users will have it on the 'office' and could start a bid war when is the deadline.
It happens to not sell a player with a fix price and then when it was on transfer market with 1 euro was sold with a bigger price than the one used for starting bid, and not sold at that time.

Yes, they have, and they have good solutions not like here in Sokker....but as you said: this is Sokker.
Bye the way, when they have breakdown, they apologize and they give explanations about the causes.
And, if I remember correctly, even Hattrick removed the auction fee, I'm not sure but this is what I heard.
However, the point is that, even Sokker cannot be changed because of its immobility, "passivity and obtuseness", it doesn't mean costumers cannot complain against a feature they consider it's wrong as long as they are doing it based on arguments.
The point was, you can't get all the benefits for free, that's not how things work in this world.
There are no benefits before selling. I don't pay any tax until I don't get an income, this is how things work in this world. Sokker wants to give a "gamble" for this feature, this is something else, but don't explain it with the reality of this world because is not.
I think it is inappropriate to start complaining afterwards...
You can think it and you can use your arguments...but nothing entitles you to chase them out of the forum. A little more costumer service doesn't hurt.
I don't go forward in any debate, I don't have time to waste.

Yep, but overall it could have cost you a lot less instead of players who get sold for just a few euros.
That is what i'm trying to tell you but you don't seem to get it
I do get it, I'm not stupid. But I also understand things are the way they are, have always been this way and little chance it will ever be for free completely, the % is already been lowered a long time ago. This is Sokker and this is how Sokker works, whether you like it or not.

I have already asked for a comment from the DEVs so we can write a news item to inform the managers, but unfortunatly I didn't get any answer.
EDIT: There are no benefits before selling.
I think juytt is right, it's somekind of an insurance.

What about this?
Some managers brought players that where to cheap due to this downtime.
So they abused an error if there are not reported this to an admin.
According GENERAL SOKKER RULES
As an user you are obligated to obey the following major rules. In the game it is forbidden:
- to use any encountered errors in Sokker to one's own needs (every traced bug should be reported to the admins)
I remember a bug where managers suddenly got a lot of money. All managers who start spending that money got banned.
So logically: Ban all managers who abused this error or undo the transfers :)
Actually, i do not care. But if the rules are followed ...

Bug is reported to the DEVs and staff, so it's up to the DEVs/Admins what to do with it, managers can't undo things on their own ;P
But downtime was two days ago and still no news, so most probably nothing will be undone, changed or whatever.
