lets try to imagine situation where greg would be open to new changes and idea like that- it could make more balance in rosters of nt squads and more equal chances to have talented players than nowadays. well it would depend in what amount would international players get in YS ( out of 30 players would that be 15, 10, 5 or 2).

it is just too big gap between rest of sokker world and top nations and poland, romania, brazil etc just have much higher number of YS ergo biggest chances to get top u21 players and later NT.

(based on Croatian number of users- Poland has 26 times more users, Brazil 6.7, romania 5.7, Italy and Turkey 5 times)

Deallus was his original username, the other one he took on when he moved over to Iceland. For sure he was the first, and will be the last team to do that. From what I remember it caused a lot more issues than they thought, and I think all the Icelandic users that were there were pretty annoyed. It was a new country, and there he was an already well established Norwegian user. May have taken a long time to topple him, had he not quit.

A better idea really would be to amalgamate some countries to play in one league. Admittedly not very realistic, but would at least give users reason to carry on playing. They would keep their national identity, but not get an own country league until reaching 32 users or similar. Some countries have 3 users, which is just dull if you are there.

And also that you like the game closer to reality. Today the big clubs have international players in their YS !

keep their national identity +1 on this idea but with quoted part

that's something that can be on pay role for good reason, its luxury, with coins or whatever, limited once in 3 seasons or so (if that is hard/unpopular for devs or whoever to do) and clubs would be transfered at the end of the season into last division of the selected nation, that would be interesting to many managers...

its not realistic to expect from new manager that he will play let's say 4-5 seasons (year and a half of his life) with bot teams to make something out of his team and then for reward enter into top community league where he has 4 more bot team but 3 active users, jupiii

as well as new managers from big communities would probably be transfered into small communities experienced managers from smaller sokker nations would probably go into big communities to have someone to play with at all or just new opponents to make things a bit more interesting...

of course junior school and national identity, all that remains the same for the transfered clubs/managers...

That's also what I have suggested, keep all countries so no NT team will be deleted, keep the national forums as they are, and keep everything else the same on the club page of managers. The only thing that have to be done is put countries together in a competition, based on continents or regions, when there a not enough teams to fill up 2 divisions (= 40 teams).

This is more fun for managers because they will play against real teams instead of (almost) always botteams, and if countries don't want to be part of an mixed competition, start doing more promotion so there will be 40+ active managers to get your own competition :)

As you and I both know, sadly good ideas are not often implemented.

I'm fairly sure greg's response to that particular idea would be that promoters should do their jobs.

I liked Deallus. I liked his sense of humor and he was very intelligent guy. I remember having few conversations with him in MSN. It was a long time ago though, which reminds me that I have been playing this game nearly a decade.

i hear only stupid ideas, but no for the game, i feel that are to cause dissatisfaction..i have the feeling that some guys log into sokker and say, sokker is still alive, damn...always dissatisfied, always cause dissatisfaction ..my questions are , why don't you quit..maybe i'm paranoid, but i see only frustration and the game is very good

It's even more worrying when you think it was circa 5 years ago that he left probably. My team is 10 years old in 6 months.
