of course you CAN lose, but the odds are much lower.

divine striker in divine form will score more in 1000 attempts than a brilliant striker in brilliant form [assuming all situations are similar]

Because they dont know that football is not mathematics.. :) (or actually it is, but not simple mathematics you learn in 1st grade, more like probability math learned in higher grades)
