no match engine is realistic, if you make 50 games like u did at this WC you´d been in a couple of semis and probably even won a WC or two, but sometimes u dont win even u have good statistics.....

I'm not only speaking about statistics, but see the match : Latvija have the better strikers of the planet !

See at one of my striker in divine form :

Superdivine pace / superdivine technique / Superdivine striker
oustanding passing / oustanding defense / unearthly experience

And he's not able to put one more goal with 8 shots ....

When I look at value of latvija strikers, I'm sure they don't have this levels. And they'd transform my defender into little junior....

But this kind of games is 1/5 if not even less...... good coach will lose that 1/5 of matches and 1/5 of matches where he is not best, bad coach will lose 4/5.... you can never take one match result for being evidence, you need to see over longer time, more matches.... and even good coaches need a bit of luck.... this is not science or 1+1 math, this is football....

Your strikers had 19 shots, his 4, so something right your strikers did...... better strikers will create more chances in almost all matches, and in some matches they will fail at converting, and in some matches worse strikers will have a fluke.... football, not 1+1 math....

but on the world cup you don't have more games ;p if you lose one time in final phase you're out...

I have better results with Danmark than Polska in qualifications :p so i'm better than shadow and Danmark is stronger than Polska ?

Shadow also made the worst result with Poland on World Cup.. 3 games.. only 1 win.. so he is weak? He was the best manager in sokker and i don't think he is now a noob. He wasn't lucky, everybody need luck to win so we can't write who is strong and who is weak when you're playing on world cup.

Next example is minis - Portugal Coach. He was second on last World Cup.. where is his Portugal now ? So he was a good coach and now he is a noob ? :P

next example is noob langhe - he didn't qualify belgium to wc.. now he promote Latvija to eightfinals.. so he is noob or just lucky ?:P - i think both :D :D

If you look at shadows world cup performance, yes then he is weak, only slightly more chances then opponent with way better team.... Ofc. you need a bit of luck to win a WC, good coaches and good teams there are quite some of, but you dont see noob win WC....

Yes, but maybe because his style is good for old ME, but i dont think he is so adapteble, also he won with poland?? When poland had way better team then others?? And when 5 def tactics (and other ultra def tactics) where number 1 over all... to play 5-3-2 in WCQ vs Slovenija and lose even with a 10 mark better team is not pro (and it wasnt even because of unluck), that is noobish....

Actually in his entire WCQ and WC this time around, he has not been unlucky, all results gone drawn or lost has been close matches.... and this is with the ultimate team at his pick....

that only shows how strong Poland is.... if Denmark had a striker with that wage/rating, we´d probably play him without knowing his skills....

1. shadow won the WC when it was almost impossible to lose with Poland
2. shadow had all his successes with old ME...so there is no sense in comparing...

of course you need luck, but shadow had very bad results at World Cup and in qualifications

Difference is the Latvija players listen to my instructions, the Belgian ones didn not :P
No serious, I think against Hellas I had 2 bonus points and today I had 1 :)

On the other hand, in most of my games the shots were 1v1 with the goalie almost inside the small rectangle.

And koolkang: you're right that Latvian striekrs are not on your level (only Sidorovs and Berends are), but it's a matter of putting the correct player on the correct position as well. And getting around their weaknesses.

But yes, it's stupid the ME simply does not know how a winger should play if he has so much space. But I (ab)used it in my conditionnal orders for red cards.

so next time Poland will need someone who has a luck in new sokker engine :)
